This thing and it’s counterpart have some of the strangest and most unique stat spreads in the series.
I think the main reason no one ever talks about them is because they’re so damn rare. They’re the only non-legendary post-game exclusives in their debut gen too, very strange decision imo.
Actually you only need 7 badges to obtain it, but that's still so damn late.
It really annoys me how ORAS didn't let you get clamperl slightly early via dexnav or something
They also might be the only evolved pokemon mogged by their prevo without even using eviolite

My big complaints; its type, they could have easily given it an interesting combination like Water/Ghost, Electric/Dark, Rock/Dragon (Based on its abyssal fish elements or Moray eel) and the same for Gorebyss.
its not cool or cute at all lol. its the very essence of a filler mon. theres plenty of rare mons that are liked because they are actually appealing.
