this, obviously. Surprising they haven't abandoned it already since nobody else will ever buy it. Everyone that likes survival crafting trash already played it when it was fotm
>Gotta kill the dragon next >Get 3 dragon eggs and find the rock that tells you the location of the dragon >It's far out, but that's expected >Boat out there for 10 minutes >Almost get there, but see the fog >Try to find a way around for another 10 minutes >The dragon is completely surrounded by the fog >No choice but to go through the fog >Get off the boat and start heading through the fog >Not even a minute and some giant purple bug flies in and instantly obliterates me >Respawn, build a shit boat, bring shit gear, and boat out back for 20 minutes >Upon arrival, attempt to get my shit >Surprise instant kill >Learn that the fog is an endgame biome and I can't get my stuff back or reach the dragon
This game can go frick itself
you need a wisp to clear the fog. Stick to anywhere high, down means death. Unless you the big zeppelin bugs that shoot a barrage on you, stay up. Play with friends if you can.
>giant purple bug flies in and instantly obliterates me
The moronic mosquitos in the original release pissed me off doing this, c**ts could even smash your boat to bits. I was considering replaying the game but if they just doubled down on this dumb as frick (and absolutely not viking themed) killer bug shit they can frick right off and choke

Problem solved. The game isn't designed for single player so it's entirely reasonable to go get your shit back with God powers or even expedite such a terrible journey as what you experienced.
So they can milk every single penny they can out of it without actually having to work on it. >tfw there's now a merch shop accessible in game.

How the
FRICK
do I make mods work on this game in multiplayer?
We used R2ModManager, had the exact same mods, and it didn't work. It worked singleplayer with the mods, but even if we used a few basic mods we couldn't play together
Buggy ass fricking game
For real though, the only thing you can do is make sure everyone has the same versions of both the game and the mods.
Valheim is real fricking picky.
I hope you guys can figure it out because mods REALLY make this game better.

We ca'n.t It just doesn't fricking work. We both have a legit copy and used the same mods in the mod manager. Hell, my friend hosted a dedicated server to no effect

Maybe the patch yesterday fricked mods?
Can you guys play with no mods? Try that, then add mods one at a time until you find the one that's fricking you.
If you can't play with no mods then one of you is messing shit up (or an isp or network bullshit)

No we tried this like a year ago, it was annoying
We can play with no mods, I just haven't tried the game in ages
but thanks maybe I should try it again now
The patch fricked up mods. The patches always frick up mods and then you have to fix them as the modders themselves tend to uninstall and drop support (since they're gone bro).
Honestly they should just not do anything unlessthey have something big to show for it.
so they have the option of abandoning it at any time with no recourse

they're still working on the game, it's not finished yet.

>Try to find a way around for another 10 minutes
>The dragon is completely surrounded by the fog
>No choice but to go through the fog
>Get off the boat and start heading through the fog

This game can go frick itself
its not balanced around a single player sadly
I'm playing solo and already on yagluth
it is now with how you can adjust resource rates and items that go through portals
its not balanced around being a moron sadly

Just disable inventory drop on death with mods, it's unnecessarily frustrating otherwise.

>mistlands was supposed to release in 2021
Being a fan of this game is suffering
This game is such a fricking chore to play. It's too grindy, even for a survival game.
they did add grind adjustment settings last patch. it's gonna be a lot less time consuming if you want
I shouldn't have to be the one who fixes their grindy game.
you should though, cause some people want it as it is
They took the money and run
its made by lethargic swedes who are on vacation for half the year
why do swedish devs always take vacations every other month
they get a day off every time devs from other countries are forced to work overtime
i need to learn swedish
hinga dinga durgen
ya i am sven
You can banish swedes with the power word fika. They immediately frick off to the nearest coffee shop.
Because if they ever launch it, people get a chance to refund it
I just enjoy raising comfy villages and sailing.
>spend time making a village
>no one lives here
They really need to add villagers
So they can milk every single penny they can out of it without actually having to work on it.

Pretty sure the devs arent making the toys, anon
>grind for copper
>grind for iron
>teleport to end game because everything after iron is a comparative breeze
ok
they can't figure out how to optimize their shitty game
>what if we made terraria, but 3d, and bad
Buyer's remorse general?
nah i got my money's worth. just wish the early access meme would stop repeating itself

me and my buddy had the same 14 mods running and no mod manager of any kind and it worked fine.
so in short, skill issue.
I'll rip off your head and mount it on my hat rack
you'll desync before you even get close to me.
FFUUUUUUU

How the frick isn't this released yet? On the bright side this game is why I no longer buy fotm early access games, besides slime rancher 2.
Eternal Early Access thanks to Steam cashgrab.
