Despite their gray barney with a drill being an inferior evolution to Rhyhorn, they think their simply designed (both conceptually and artistically) favorite is somehow superior to mons that succeed on either one of these fronts
Rhyperior is only hated by a very vocal, very deranged minority; it doesn't take a genius to see why this should be appreciated, but its haters are far from even that
Salty Rhydoncucks who like to pretend Rhyhorn going from Rhydon isn't uglier
Rhyperior is ok. He makes more sense as a Rhyhorn evolution than Rhydon.
Love how Rhyperiorgays pretend to be Rhyhorn fans that think Rhydon ruined Rhyhorn even though barely anyone thoight that before Gen 4.
They can't explain why Rhyperior is good so they just say "Rhydon is bad" because they can't come up with an argument
>They can't explain why Rhyperior is good
It's been explained before on occasion.
Rhyperior is cool because it takes on a demolition theme with its wrecking ball tail, keeping the drill, heavy orange cobblestone construction vest, tanky physique, pulverizer arms, and cement spout palms
it makes Rhydon look like an embarrassment of a design with no depth, especially since it's mogged on the detailing front by Rhyhorn's scales; in fact, it's not even as menacing as Rhyhorn either
>Rhydongays are mentally ill >Despite their gray barney with a drill being an inferior evolution to Rhyhorn, they think their simply designed (both conceptually and artistically) favorite is somehow superior to mons that succeed on either one of these fronts >Rhyperior is only hated by a very vocal, very deranged minority; it doesn't take a genius to see why this should be appreciated, but its haters are far from even that
That "improved" design in the thumbnail is so fricking bad it's making me actually like Rhyperior.
It's honestly impressive how for every design most people don't like, fans take it and somehow turn it from "eh kinda boring/awkward/overdesigned/etc, whatever" to "actual irredeemable dogshit".
Basically me when i see any attempt at redesigning a Pokémon (Especially when most of the time, they just make it so diffrent, it's basically a fakemon)
It's unnecessary. Rhydon already felt like a fully evolved mon, they could've given an evolution to Farfetch'd, Marowak, Arbok, Delibird, Dunsparce, Delcatty, Luvdisc, all mons that could've benefitted and yet they chose a perfectly strong and intimidating Pokemon like Rhydon to get one.
Rhyhorn sticks out so much compared to other first stagers in a three stage line because of this. This is one of those rare cases where a baby prevo would've been preferable.
It's the out of place color scheme, I guarantee it wouldn't be hated if the evo line kept some consistency with the greys. Plus back in the day it was a common sentiment that Rhydon didn't need an evolution.
Yeah, were's the rhyno in rhyperior? The fricked up the horn. They took the ears away too. Rhydon is too cool and too classic to delete it from the franchise like that.
All the gen 4 evolutions were done carelessly tho, except the eevees. Made me quit the franchise back in the day because i didnt want to be attached to a pokemon and having it destroyed like that after 10 years of "partnership". I was a kid back then but frick it sucked so bad
Rhyperior is the poster child for Sinnoh’s big, fat monster design. It’s easier to pick on him than say Lickilicky, because the color palette and armor are so different.
tbh I never hated rhyperior, though it seemed kind of unfair when it got an evolution in gen 4 while golem remained objectively worse than rhydon. It looks pretty bad in 3d, though I remember liking it in legends arceus
The two things I dislike about Rhyperior are her awkward arms and how sparse and ugly the armor plating is on her, it just looks like she's covered kneepads your mom would force you to wear before you're allowed to ride your bike.
If Rhyperior just had more normal looking arms instead of the popeye forearm elbow spikes, and if the armor plating looked more like an actual heavy armor that fully covers the body, I'd probably like her. Like Rhyperior should look like she's wearing orange rocky bomb disposal armor, not a hi-vis safety vest.
jealousy
hate us cause they aint us
>Jealous of Rhydon with orange hexagons slapped on it
Sinnohgays are a joke
they turned the very first pokemon ever created into a fat jobmon
because it's fricking ugly, simple as
this
nah you are
nah they improved it
Try looking at her and you'll find out why
Rhydongays are mentally ill

Rhyperior looks cool. /vp/ is literally the only place you'll find a schizo or two crying about him

This says it all.
moai pokemon is also shit
Salty Rhydoncucks who like to pretend Rhyhorn going from Rhydon isn't uglier
this
there's nothing wrong with rhyperior capping off the whole evolutionary line
Rhyperior is ok. He makes more sense as a Rhyhorn evolution than Rhydon.
Is this a Rhyperior thread?
Maybe an Underappreciated Pokemon thread?
I wouldn't call Rhyperior underappreciated. You're just getting psyoped by vocal minority resident schizos like
says.
>You're just getting psyoped by vocal minority resident schizos
You are honestly insane if you think anyone likes that obese turnermon trash
>turnermon
kek did you really have to make identifying you as said schizo so easy?
Fricks Rhydon out of his main feature. Rhyperior still has a drill horn but it's tiny and angled on top of a fat lard so it looks fricking stupid.
Then adds like 3 other gimmicks on top of that - the orange turds, the wrecking ball, shooting geodudes out of its hands?
Too busy and way too much shit going on. Doesn't look aesthetically as pleasing as Rhydon's simple plated armor theme.
nah its an improvement
It's unnecessary. Rhydon already felt like a fully evolved mon, they could've given an evolution to Farfetch'd, Marowak, Arbok, Delibird, Dunsparce, Delcatty, Luvdisc, all mons that could've benefitted and yet they chose a perfectly strong and intimidating Pokemon like Rhydon to get one.

Orange hexagons are stupid.
You're angry at a shape on a Saturday evening.
Because they made their boy a fat construction worker.
looks worse than its pre-evolution
nah it looks better
its homosexuals with shit taste
I legit don't get why it's so hated, I think it's alright. Definitely an improvement on Rhydon who looks a bit too bland imo

I don't get the argument that a Cross-Gen Evolution replace the original mon.
You know Rhydon is still in the game, right?
>They took the ears away too
Because Rhyperior's is covered by construction noise-cancelling earmuffs
>They fricked up the horn.
No they didn't.
>WHY DOESN'T IT JUST GET BIGGER?!?
I don't know but that redesign from the first thumbnail looks godawful.
Forced hatred
This could have all been avoided if he was a Mega Evolution instead of a cross-gen.
A Mega in Gen 4?
Yeah. Game Freak should have thought of it earlier.
Meh. A Gimmick is a Gimmick. If anything, Rhyperior could've had the 600 BST (Alongside Dusknoir). Could've work.
Rhyperior is the poster child for Sinnoh’s big, fat monster design. It’s easier to pick on him than say Lickilicky, because the color palette and armor are so different.
That's sad tho. Being big plus those colors and plating works great.
tbh I never hated rhyperior, though it seemed kind of unfair when it got an evolution in gen 4 while golem remained objectively worse than rhydon. It looks pretty bad in 3d, though I remember liking it in legends arceus
I mean, Golem can't have an evolution since Gamefreak is stubborn for Pokémon lines to have 3 stages at max. Could've had a Mega tho.
>golem remained objectively worse than rhydon
it's not and never has been
Because they turned an awesome Kaiju into some bob the builder fat frick
>A Kaiju became a slightly different Kaiju
Oh the HORROR
Kaiju’s ain’t gay fat fricks
>Gay
Tell that to the people who ship Male Rhydon with Male Aggron.
Question: Has Hoopsandhiphop ever come up with even a single redesign that isn't utterly atrocious?

The wrecking ball tail can stay though.
