Why not? It would not be difficult to add those things, and since bloodborne is a popular game, many people would but it regardless. It sounds much more effective to remake a game like a bloodborne than to release something no one will play if your goal is to make people play video games with black characters.
I definitely don’t have any delusions about Bloodborne being a mainstream success, but holy shit, why didn’t they at least make it run better on the PS4 Pro? Why does it many sense for it to run the same on a base PS4 and a PS5 when it was one of their “big” games for a couple of years?
Between this shit and them just vaporizing Japan Studio it really does feel like they run the PlayStation brand in a way that is specifically designed to hurt my feelings these days.
FROM moved on and didn't bother to patch it. Sony. They weren't going to work on that for free while they had other projects lined up.
Sony probably won't touch it on their own because it could be a mess reprogramming it or something without FROM's input (physics tied to framerate and other quirks of their work).
