There's already emulators for nintendo games though, so that doesn't make sense. If anything Nintendo games on PC would get them more sales, they just have a competitive advantage/reason to be exclusive. But how does that help gamers?

Coupled with how much less out of control their budgets seem to be (given how profitable they are in comparison), they have no real financial incentive to port to PC and arguably stand to lose the most if they did.
Money, they are, however, shooting themselves in the foot if they intend to continue selling remasters as you can play all your games for all time one way or another without having to buy remasters. It's a forever machine.
