I also have 4.8k hours on CS:GO and got 10 on faceit, GE, the works. It's the most fun PC FPS game and that's awful. People who only play FPS games on PC and never tried games where it's hard to cheat do not know how fun it is to play any game cleanly.

most games i just judge if its worth playing by its matchmaking and progression. the only other game i enjoyed going on servers for kinda died off.
I used to play Overwatch, Battlefield and Call of Duty, but somewhere along the way they had sequels I didn't like and stuck with the new format.
I also liked Team Fortrsss 2 but instead of a new game, they just totally changed the game I had paid for into something different.
I haven't played online games for a few years.
I want Quake Champions, but polished and not EA slop with a billion loading screens that will never be a finished product. Destiny was quite fun during Season of the Lost/30th Anniversary, but they fricked everything up with light 3.0 and I stopped playing after the pirate season. I should give Halo Infinite another shot.
Sometimes I load up BF3/4 but I largely avoid MP fps now. It's a cursed genre.

in terms of popularity counter strike is obviously the last real relevant multiplayer shooter around. and im not saying theres anything wrong with older arena shooters but theyre a very niche thing these days

I play Hell Let Loose and sometimes Insurgency which are games without gay ass childish homosexual skins. I am disgusted by the climate created for modern games. As a man I want to play some manly games. That simulate realistic moments yet are not a total time sink like ARMA
I can't enjoy games like Insurgency which are insanely low kill times, some times one hit kills which aren't even headshots. It's just so boring to walk down a lane, into a room, out in the open, or anything else, and die in one hit. It feels so skill-less and braindead. In something like CoD you can die very quickly, like less than 1/2 a second at times, but atleast you have the opportunity to survive and run away and not just lose instantly.

I've got no complaints about TF2 aside from that the developers treat it like a moronic middle child despite the fact that it's thrived with minimal support for years and years.
Why is it so much to ask that a game which still nears the top of steamcharts actually gets some new weapons/rebalances? It hurts so much that they actually want this game to die, and if TF2 ever did start fading, knowing that literally nothing would be done developer-side to stop it.
do you really want them to try and frick with tf2, you'll get another meet your match and it'll be in an even worse spot
