no one was gonna play a side scrolling 2d platformer just because it has black people in the game. There is no audience for that game. If you made it big booby android women then we got a game idea. But it was shit like all the unknown no name black streamers and troonys love this game! for the advertisement. No one wants black people or troonys in advertisements. I didn't buy a Steam Deck specifically because they only showed black men and white women in the adverts. If they want my money they will damn sure gonna have to throw at minimum 80% of the advertising directed at me and my money and I'm sure as hell never gonna buy a game with black people in the advertisement ever again. It is the irony of forced diversity - makes people actually hate stuff they could have been interested in. I would say it is funny but my guess is that it is all calculated and rich people really want us to hate each other so we are too busy to murder them for what they are doing.

It’s insane that people think that SBI’s involvement had any influence at all on this game tanking (which seems like a shame, I played the demo for a bit and it seemed like a fairly standard, if a bit generic, metroidvania). The person that cares about SBI’s involvement in a game would never in a million years buy a game set in Africa whether SBI helped or not.
