I’m playing FF Origins; Strangers of paradise, and it’s not good. I can’t figure out why? It’s like that Bojack speech on Becker. All the right parts are here, why doesn’t it work.
Boss fights are a blast, atmosphere and music are next level, characters are ok, story and class system is good. Yet the game is so meh-. Why?
Game feels very rushed. Story, dialogs and the whole concept of the game is quite bad (italian translations is even worse). The game just shines for its combat mechanics and gameplay, even if sometimes a bit repetitive or unbalanced.

It’s decent. Visuals kinda meh. Has a charm to it but honestly at times reminds me **** looking PS3 game. Overall plays alright. Story kinda ****. Characters **** except for Jack. Jack is hilarious. The best way to play this game is to not take it serious and play it co op. Very fun co op game.

I thought it was pretty good.
I could feel it when they randomly put you in the room with the computer and your party standing around it. Like they intended for there to be downtime between levels where you explored towns and talked to NPCs, but they never programmed it. So you get a room with the king and the room with the computer and that's about it. Why did they even bother keeping those sections? It's so odd.
Stranger of paradise is a strange game. On one hand the game had tons of potential on the other I agree it feels very rushed. It seems like a lot of focused went into combat rather then making a interesting story which FF franchise is know for. There is plenty of classes and combination to go with but all falls apart once you start looking into the loot system which is so over bloated its ridiculous.
This game could really do with some more development time and fine tuning all systems to make more cohesive.

Dont think about classes cause in the end every class can basically use any weapon. Katana is pretty fun, i also really liked the greatsword. If you level each class for that respective weapon, you start unlocking new movesets.

Depends on what you find fun.
Personally I went Swordsman and built for infinite high-speed spinning.
i enjoyed rune knight a lot, and then stuck with cyclic warrior once i unlocked it all the way into the postgame difficulties
Any sort of axe-wielder is hilarious for just deleting healthbars.
Depends on how you want to play. The game encourages experimentation, so, play new things.
Katana samurai because you can do perfect blocks and refill your entire mana bar.

but its ok. ur not the only one! i suggest checking out /vp/, /vr/ and any gacha or vn thread and you will be blessed with dopamine-giving flashing lights that require very little to no input by you, the poor gamer. not poor as in you got no gil but poor as in you are physically and possibly mentally disabled 🙂

Game is great, but the levels are terrible.
I remember beating the game, unlocking that Chaos class and then I just kinda stopped playing it. I don't even remember why.

Frick off, Bojack was a absolute masterpiece.
The only thing that really drags it down is the dogshit loot system. I'm so tired of games showering you with item drops when 99% of said drops are absolutely worthless. Aside from that, I really enjoyed.
The loot is absolutely abhorrent, but minor.
