        >Stellar Blade is more than a game, it has become a cultural beacon for freedom of expression in a time where Game Publishers like Sony are censoring games more than ever. Stellar Blade was a breath of fresh air and gamer rallied behind it because it meant things were changing, getting better, and the voice of creative freedom was ringing loud and clear.

Is this guy being serious? This can't be serious.

I thin you have to be careful you don't go down the tyrannical path.

Once you start attacking people for having weird opinions about fetishes, you might be doing it wrong and start alienating people, rather than make people join your cause.

This has nothing to do with whether or not people like pantyhose. This is a game that is tied up in a big censorship controversy. The Kotaku article is indirectly praising the censorship. Obviously people who are against censorship are not going g to like the retweet.

The 3rd party spectator might not agree with you.
The 3rd party spectator might be hugely into the whole Zettai Ryouiki aspect of things.
So when they see Kotaku voice an opinion they sher, and then they see you screech about how ShiftUp betrayed you, guess which side the 3rd party spectator will steer towards?

You're not doing your cause any favours by sperging out like this.
The best strategists choose their battles wisely, they know when to engage, and when not to engage.

sure but is not hard to assume if you say that you will trigger the horde of morons screaming about the outfits being censored.

It has nothing to with personal opinions is just 100% common sense this person gets paid for doing that as well .

It's your mission to convince the 3rd party spectators who are watching this debacle from the sideline.

In this case the 3rd party spectator is just observing some developer retween some opinion which they might agree with.

And on the other side of the fence, some internet asbergers are screeching about how this shouldn't be allowed.

You will lose sympathy the more autistic you go into this direction.

You'd be right 20 years ago. Not now after they laid their cards on the table and ruined everything in every field. Only the most moronic and diehard brainwashed tools would side with the company making everything worse. Everyone else knows that Kotaku is bottom of the barrel filth as far as opinions and articles are concerned.

Do you want to attract them to your cause?

Instead of shitting on SB for a minor change, take the big W with the small L.
Expecting a perfect victory is delusional. This is already 99% there.
Does the censorship suck and shouldn't have happened? Absolutely. But it's such a minor and inconsequential thing it's a really weird hill to die on.

This is what a genuine controversy looks like anon. There's good arguments on both sides and it's an unwinnable situation. Day 1 censorship patch takes brass balls, especially when the dev had been arguing with journalists about sexy characters and running as the East's answer to the West's "feminine" character designs. Still, it's fairly minor and it isn't worth sacrificing the entire company for, even if they're known for this type of bullshit censorship. Then in the back of my mind I remember boiling frogs because all that's being asked for is basic cleavage + ass/thighs. It's 1000% not a big deal irl, nor was it a big deal for decades until now so we can't accept it. It's like apologizing to a mob when you've done nothing wrong. They will only demand more from you and we've seen this time and time again.
