British washing machines are usually front loaded so they fit beneath countertops, top loaded washing machines are more common in the US and poor countries
I trust the big ol industrialized dish washers but I do not trust the products I've seen at my local Home Depot or Lowes. My mom loved the front loaded ones as a kid. But I never trusted them. Always washed the dishes by hand when she wasn't looking.
Dish washers are fine if you actually use them properly. The problem is when you leave shit in them long enough to dry - they're incapable of removing dried food for the most part.
Really fricking wish I knew how to cook. Everything I've made this past year has been wholly unsatisfying. Basic meals are easy, combing rice with eggs and beef or a stew is easy enough. But anything beyond that just destroys my soul.
make more pasta dishes. they're quick and great to learn with. it teaches you about timing for doneness and temperature control to not break sauces. eggs are really difficult. chefs use scrambled eggs to judge a new cook.
meatballs are also great. if you can master a meatball then you can make a great burger or steak. knowing the right combination of fat and meat and to get the searing right leads to amazing balls.
America's Test Kitchen for the DS is an amazing cookbook, and every recipe I've tried has turned out amazing.
Chicken Fricassee has my strong recommendation.
Every step has extra details if you need them, and the trickiest parts have filmed video tutorials.
i bet that not only did this dumb tik tocker probably left that shit for the hotel staff to clean but the hotel most likely has plumbing issues because of the onions and other food debris

I actually have not messed with pasta to any significant degree, that's a decent suggestion. I really want to have something with meatballs in it.

Noted. A smash-burger is another one of those things I'd love to figure out. If the meatballs will get me there then it's a worthy goal.
All you have to do it follow the directions. Just follow the directions.

Oh shit, Mr Vimm has it. I hope you are right about this.
I almost always put too much liquid into my food.
Not worth the effort, no one is looking.
