Because all of the shit outside of the main city is empty and the city itself serves little to no purpose. You aren't taking over gang territories or finding tags or other collectables.
it was fun to frick around w/ friends in early GTAO
me and my boy pissed some dude off so we hid up on the mountain. the guy called in mercs or whatever to kill us but whenever they spawned in on the mountain they'd immediately crash and explode for some reason
we were laughing our asses off the whole time. that guy really wanted us dead for some reason.
to me its not even the lack of content. its more that the shape is just really boring. driving around V's map is boring because the highway that goes around it is basically a straight line. its boring to drive on.
Online did not kill GTA V single player. The game was awful. Press A to run around the beach with your on. Press A to drop the pesticide. Press A to chat with Michael. Press A to drink your soda. Press A to lift the crane. Hold Y to switch perspective so you never lose.
90% of GTAV map that wasn't empty space, only served as level design for a few missions. It wasn't designed to be an interactive sandbox open world on its own.

wtf
I never noticed that the map looks like Homer Simpson
simpsons is stupid and shouldn't exist
MAAAAAAAAAARGE
A FRICKING SQUARE
For real, a state, fictional or otherwise, should never have square corn-
-ers
Wyoming is also everything that's bad about open world maps
V is like 50% mountains
cause it's a giant fricking hill
3 cities vs 1
The numerous mountains meant less usable space. Bigger is better for game maps.
All kinda blends together.
I used to love just going on joyrides along the highway in GTA5.
Why ever leave the city? There is nothing to see. You can't even bump into something cool on the way to something because you have no where to go.
~nowhere to goooo~
Because they focused on making each area somewhat unique and segmented and unlockable via story progression, instead of "go anywhere at anytime".
Because realism is for homosexuals - especially when your developers are obsessed with the most toothless form of "satire" possible.

Online KILLED GTA V single player and made it so EMPTY
I expect those features and game modes they made for online, at BARE MINIMUM, to be AVAILABLE on the BASE GAME for GTA 6
They have like a 1 BILLION DOLLAR BUDGET for VI so NO EXCUSES and NO EXCEPTIONS

yes games require inputs. great work
>woman with a body built for breeding standing out by herself at night
>nobody's about to rape her
unrealistic image
I think sa's map is shit too. Takes longer to get arround because of the bad road design unless you use a plane or jetpack cheat.
