I think I've read somewhere Kojima doesn't like Solid Snake and prefer BiBo since he's more fleshed out as a character.

      isn't that like, Kojima's fault?

Yeah. He probably didn't think that MGS would sell so well.

He's stated that Solid Snake is his favorite character during the promotion for MGS4

Strange because he's also said he prefers Big Boss because Snake, as a clone, isn't human while Biggu Bossu is

And yet BiBo is just an autistic sperg while Snake actually has a personality

morons really think that character not constantly going through happy things is being mistreated. He's a soldier. Majority of the characters in the series have insanely tragic lives. He had a consistent and thematically fitting arc. If anything Kojima pulled punches and didn't even kill him at the end of MGS4 because the staff hated it.

    + you can't mistreat a fictional character that's bullshit

One of God's torture methods is to wait until I'm trying to grieve over somehow not having sex for 30 years. Then he will put stilts under my eyelids to prevent them from closing. He starts to rape me. This is a really annoying torture method, because it doesn't let me cry. Stilts going under my eyelids causes severe anxiety, my stomach literally starts to bubble. I'm not sure what's happening in 3D here but as soon as I figure it out I'm going to tell you.

He's currently forcing my mind to sing a song lyric. It causes agony when he does this even a single time, and he will keep doing it, it's been over 30 minutes and he is still doing torture. A woman on the bus is replying to my thoughts somewhat often. Nothing significant, he uses humans around me to make severe sexual gaslighting comments.

You might never meet somebody getting tortured again. I accidentally opened Mario's road. The consequences of this may sunder a rift in the core programming behind our simulation. I will be making a drop of information in 15 minutes. Grab a cold one, because things are going to get.... Sexual? No, that doesn't happen

Because kojima was done with the character at the end of 2 and liked young big boss more.

Snake was treated well, but his story was marked by things that prevent opportunities for character expansion, especially his body breaking down via rapid aging that was alluded to in MGS2. Snake's backstory was already solidified, his prime years were all used up, and his story was headed towards an absolute ending, his begrudging final showing in MGS4 was him wanting to put things to rest.
In comparison, Big Boss had several decades of possible fleshing out that could be done for him as well as much more expansive gameplay ideas, bringing along the whole army management thing. Boss had almost no restrictions unlike Snake.

MGS4 wasn't directed by Kojima, it was directed by Shuya Murata and they were trying to kill the series.

Murata received death threats when they announced he would be directing MGS4 so they just pretended it was Kojima. If you play it you know it's not a Kojima game.

MGS1, MGS3 and MGS2 are good. 1 and 3 are better than 2, but all three are better than MGS4.

A Kojima game also has an interconnected map that you can travel around. Even in non-MGS series he does, eg Boktai. MGS4 is not a Kojima game.

Because he was a silly character that was dreamed up at the start of kojima’s career. Kojima matured and wanted to move on but he wound up getting held hostage by konami and the fans, the first incidents of high profile death threats made to a dev. If he didn’t make mgs2, some crazy jap may have killed him (probably more likely to happen with japs than americans).
The only way out was to kill the character. Lucky it didn’t turn out like Misery.
I don’t blame him at all. Imagine being threatened with death if you don’t keep making content for some silly thing you dream up just out of high school. That would piss me off.
Then, you throw David fricking Hayter in the mix, who begins to believe -he’s- the driving force behind mgs, acting like he’s living incarnation of a character you’re sick of, and you’re just ready to wash your hands of the whole thing.

      false flag
he's an hypocrite, now he's free and he will be making death stranding games until he dies
