Hey, do you know why I get a little diamond symbol just to the right of the scanner/tgt box? It also fills over time, but also disappears. I'd take a screenshot but I forgot and it hasn't happened again since. I went through all the tutorials twice and once again just looking at the videos attached, and I couldn't find anything on it.
For me it's the ugly as sin ships. I don't mean ugly in the sense they're low poly or whatever, I still love most of the designs from Freelancer to this day, and I just replayed it a few months ago. No, I mean they're basic design is awful. Unattractive shapes haphazardly shoved together, with bits that look like they were accidentally extruded into improper angles. The worst offender has to be the bandit ships, where the back looks almost decent but the front is two moronicly giant triangles that absolutely ruin the aesthetics. At least the Freelancer bounty hunter ripoff ships (torrent et. al.) are passable.
I got hit by normal cargo train while exiting the speed lines. Inside of it there's no collision. But when a long train exits, it goes out of the way slowly, so the line got me out of and returned collision while i was inside train model.
Its not. I'm playing it right now. Honestly, loving it. It has many down times when travelling from point A to B, but then I just alt-tab and do something else. Content is there, very interesting to explore and find shit.
Okay i guess. There's a price fluctuations but its only to barely prevent very quick exploitation between nearby stations in one system. Prices going back at default in real time.
More stations visited obviously results in more known prices. Train routes being very arbitrary allows game to have some planning element.
Thou I currently smashing all Communication Relays to sell its pieces at Alpha-Omega.
Aand I died when alt-tabbing again.
Yes, very much so. Every system has jumpholes (oppossing to controlled jumpgates where police hang around usually), pirate stations have their own smuggling quests like 'prove yourself'. Contraband scan is a thing, but a bit buggy haha. It's a dialogue and if another dialogue starts then first one results as if nothing happened.
I'm pretty sure it's just what the Ajuni are afraid of in that system.
You can turn the deathcloud into a heavy weapon that creates a field that hurts enemies though.
If it's forgotten why do you make this thread every couple of hours?
Because I still have not received my key as a backer while people who didn't back it have been playing for a week
I got my key but I backed the $50 tier
I haven't got my key either
I just got mine (soundtrack tier)
It's just one dev giving them out
just got mine
no /agdg/ cameos or crossovers
I'm having fun with it. 20 hours in.

I know orange is for the railgun or torpedo and you have to get kills to charge it up.
Waiting for cheevos
>looks exactly like Freelancer
FRICK YEAH, BOY-
>spooky scary aliens
Nawww.

The scary alien parts are great. I got hit by an alien train.

You... know you can abyssdrive, right?
Yeah. I still alt-tab and hope not to die.
Can't abyssdrive near stations or planets.
Did you find any tier 2 pirate ships yet?
Sorry, i didnt pay attention what ships are pirate's faction and what are not. I just traded in the best freighter i could find and that's it
How is the trading?

Can you be a pirate? Smuggling at all?

Waiting on multiplayer. Still bought it though.
Do the devs know the Peerless casino literally only gives equal or positive payouts? I went from 600k to 5mil spamming the machines.
I think the casino is meant to be placeholder
Tries too hard to copy Freelancer while missing its character. The memes and jokes are fine for a FL mod, but not so much in a stand-alone game.
It's not really jokey. It's more like Star Control 2.
>Early Access
It's not even out yet. Let the game release first and then we can discuss it being forgettable.
Better than starfield
Is there a quest/mission associated with King O'Tha Clouds/Contained Deathcloud?
I'm pretty sure it's just what the Ajuni are afraid of in that system.
