I was playing GT4 and it made me really mad how difficult it was to advance with my preferred car. A big issue (but not the only one) was that it’s impossible to get a feel for tuning because you need to enter a race to test it out. I’m trying to see how this affects my driving, but it takes 4 minutes between tweaks. That is annoying when you might need to do it 10+ times in a row, to the point that I dropped the game.
I beat GT3 and I don’t remember it being that gay.

and that's it it should be enough to win
If the race is particularly hard add nitrous and a spoiler and set downforce to maximum, this takes care of the 9% of the races
1% of the races are true bullshit and require per race setups like world championships, opel speedster trophy and few others but there really are only a handful of really hard events that need precision tuning and tweaking, you will want to buy custom transmission and adjust suspension for these

I'm just saying they're not needed at all senpai. Driving the yellowbird around the 'ring with economy tires, no aids and stock settings is one of my favorite past times, if you manage to tame that you don't need TCS for 99,9% of the cars. That thing taught me proper throttle control, with a gamepad nonetheless. The TCS is only needed for bumpy sections with LMPs and F1 cars to prevent the car from KWABing itself the moment the four wheels aren't glued to the road

I predominantly play on PC but I do own a PS5 because I'm not poor and Rebirth was shockingly good. I haven't tried Stellar Blade yet but people seem to like that as well.
