They dont need to make their brand new ip safe and can put every idea they thought of in it without being restricted by the fans' expectations of persona and smt

You have people like me who'd jump at a chance to play EO but ultimately already bought and played on DS and bought and played the 3DS games too and at £35.99/$40 USD a pop and £73/$80 for the three.
I'd support the games and the franchise but to a point. There's a principle involved and paying box price for 16 year old ports that have been milked already it crosses that invisible threshold.
EO had been in limbo for 5 years and SEGA are not the type of publisher who you buy games to support with the hope of others coming at a later date; they're simply too schizophrenic in their port choices. They also make shit choices when it comes to design decisions on their ports so they all inevitably require some degree of modding.
I think it's great that they finally ported them to another platform but their pricing strategy in conjunction with Denuvo is where it breaks down farther. They don't like removing the DRM except in the cases of Y7 and so when it comes to SEGA there's no give and take; only give to SEGA.
That alone makes the EO titles prime "sale wait" material and I'd pass them up over newer titles in sale instances.
That invisible line being crossed isn't there for me with a title like V: Vengeance that didn't get ported out already and was trapped on the switch. It'll be <3 year old when it hits and while I feel like it should have hit after 1 or 2 years the tradeoff in that updated content and not being locked to switch works better.
It'll still have denuvo but there's less incentive for me to pirate out of principle at the pricing.
Looking at how I'd choose to do replays of these titles in 1-2 years time. I'd either play them on my DS/3DS, emulate them when at the PC or pirate the switch version for EO. With SMT V I'm inclined to move away from emulating the switch version.
There's not a world where SEGA can justify their pricing combined with their business practices to me

When he returns, he finds that 300 years have passed in Ireland, and his Father and clans folks adventures were passed down a Legend, so he decides return to Tír na nÓg with Niamh. But in his way there Oisín falls from the horse after helping some people to move a big rock. So he instantly becomes elderly, as the years catch up with him, and he quickly dies of old age, not before passing down all the adventures of his Father and the Fianna's (his clan) along the stories of Tír na nÓg to St. Patrick
It just looks like a weird mix of Persona and other Atlus titles attempting to pander to every fanbase they developed in the past 25 years. Nothing, especially the characters' designs, looks particularly original or innovative. It might be fun to play and explore due to its high budget and resources put into it, but that's it. The differences between the concept art and what they showed proved they're playing safe, and it's not seen positively in the modern industry.

Everything I've seen from this game is just way too visually busy. It's like they paid too much attention to the praise that P5 got for its presentation then ran it into the ground trying to one-up it. My eyes don't know where the frick to look. It's visual garbage.
I appreciate the use of slab & serif fonts but I look at this and I don't see it being too far off of my memories playing P3 on the PS2 with the exception of there being less blocks of solid colour to break up the text.
The white on bright aesthetic falls to pieces even with some elements having a distance shadow attached. It's a terminal case of modern UI & UX sensibilities clashing.
Legit can't comprehend why so many japs these days seem utterly unable to make fantasy without isekai or pseudo-isekai nonsense, and why they so obsessed with highschooler protagonists. It's boring, cringe and uninspired af.
