I wish.
Its TCM characters only...
How will they compete with how will 72 characters lost to a game where max would be like 10
>Its TCM characters only...
They're also dipping into concept art and ideas for the original movie to create new characters.
why are her eyes turning me on
I hope she gets lots of blender porn
nope, we have Alien now with fnaf on the way
Nah but it’ll be fun for a few months before it completely dies
It won't. Curious how long this one will last in comparison to F13 and Predator. Why design an asymmetrical horror game off a single franchise? Even Outlast Trials has more going for it.
No, people play for the collab characters, not the gameplay.
Collab shit {BRAND} X {BRAND} slop is fricking aids
True but try telling that to the current DBD fanbase, or Fortnite's, or CoD's, etc.
This. DBD would have died years ago if it weren’t for Myers, Freddy and Piggy
>releasing on the 50th anniversary
Frick I don't want to buy a game that will die in less than a year but frick sake. I think i'm gunna do it just to no-life it for the Halloween season.
Fuggin love TCM.
unfortunately no, DBD was just so fricking lucky and now has so many licenses it will be the one and only in the assymetrical horror genre until the entire genre dies.
>de-thrown DbD
you mean like the other DBD killers
1 in-game lmao
VHS annoyed the frick out of me before it was even out because the playtest was stuck on my profile with no way of removing it, they eventually did it automatically, no way I'd ever touch the full game
>REsistance
Failed because the only way to get it was to buy Resident Evil 3 for 60 dollars. Decent idea for a game though.
>Friday the 13th
The devs had to stop working on it because of a lawsuit.
>Evil Dead
Launched on EGS instead of Steam
>Predator
Buggy and unbalanced. No marketing.
>Last Year
The devs thought that it would be a good idea to launch and sell the game on fricking Discord (?!). Died quickly. I enjoyed the free weekend.
Don't know about the others. Never heard of some of them.
>propninght
Prop hunt already exists on gmod
>HSH
Chink bootleg assym
>project playtime
Early Access
>Breakers
Broken matchmaking and gacha shit
>secret Neighbor
Buggy piece of shit
>VHS
I could rant long about this one. Their biggest blunder was being restrictive with the beta keys when DBD was at its worst and everyone was looking for an alternative
>Only has the rights to the first movie
No Chop Top, No Deal.
This is weird too. You'd have lots more to pull from with the whole franchise. Getting the characters from Leatherface would be really cool.
Stuff they ended up using for TCM3, basically.
They lost the rights to Ft13.
TCM is one of those franchises were the movies are owned by different people. They only got the rights for the first movie.
israelite bastards are gonna save him for paid DLC.
I hope so, DBD is dogshit
t. 700+ hours
DBD IS dogshit
t. 1800 hours
I hope the game dies

It’s published by the company that published Friday the 13th, and they are shutting down Friday the 13th at around the same time they are releasing this. If you buy it then you are moronic.
Friday the 13th was killed due to legal issues, they literally aren't even allowed to maintain the servers thanks to Hollywood israelites who own the rights
Yes, the legal issues that were already settled are what is causing them to shut down the game at the same time they are releasing a competing product. You are so smart.
F13 won’t shut down until the end of 2024. It will be removed from store by the end of this year though
is much better than dbd for both sides so i think yeah
plus the developers arent incompetent morons like bhvr
I'm going to play this religiously and savour it before anything bad happens to it. Apparently F13 was really fun and I never got to play it. Been stuck with shitty DBD and its garbage devs
Same. Really wish I could have played F13 during its glory days
f13 was so fricking good even with all the bugs
i still watch some ytubers play it and it genuinely feels like a real horror game
tcm is pretty much the same but improved balance on both sides
this is sadly the reality with most games these days
people just dont want to give ANYTHING else a try, are super religious about the brand or franchise they consume
this generation is full of losers who cannot tolerate different views and opinions
i think tcm will survive for some time until someone discovers a broken strat and the other side will start losing players or players naturally flock back to the product they dipped their knees in or if the developers fail to keep the game fresh and interesting
we will just have to wait and see
but the game genuinely looks pretty good so i hope it is successful as a competitor
To be fair, lots of games are specifically designed to have sunk cost, fomo, etc. It's why people stick to their one game instead of actually being fans of a genre. So called battle royale fans only playing Fortnite, looter shooter fans sticking to Destiny, asymm horror fans with DBD, and so on
hahahahaha not a chance. DBD players are so deep in sunk cost that it's going in their ears.
best it can hope for is to co-exist like f13 kinda did, attracting a seperate audience playing it for a different experience no matter if they're dbd players or not.
Quitting DBD is one of the best things I've ever done
What about wuitting LoL/DOTA?
I quit LoL for Dbd after failing to get to diamond.
lol
scrub
I was playing adc so basically I was Master level even if platinum.
>low plat is just as good as master!

>On the afternoon of August 18th, 1973, five young people in a Volkswagen van ran out of gas on a farm road in South Texas. Four of them were never seen again. The next morning the one survivor, Sally Hardesty-Enright, was picked up on a roadside; Blood cloaked and screaming murder. Sally said she had broken out of a window in Hell. The girl babbled a mad tale: a cannibal family in an isolated farmhouse? chain-sawed fingers and bones? her brother, her friends hacked up for barbecue? chairs made out of human skeletons? Then she sank into catatonia. Texas lawmen mounted a month-long manhunt, but could not locate the macabre farmhouse. They could find no killers and no victims. No facts; no crime. Officially, on the records, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre never happened. But during the last 13 years, over and over again reports of bizarre, grisly chainsaw mass-murders have persisted all across the state of Texas. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has not stopped. It haunts Texas. It seems to have no end.
>de-thrown
you must be 18 to post here
the first tcm is really scary to me but I don't know why. for being alongside all those other cheesy slasher mascots its the only one that unnerved me.
It's realistic, the monsters are just humans like you and me, not demi-gods. You're an hour away at best from someone like Jedidiah.
We should be so lucky.
will there be important female character to "interact with"?
we need this
Can we actually get a good video game trying to adapt the experience, aesthetic, and atmosphere of TCM instead of soulless asymmetrical multiplayer games?
It could happen. Probably not but it could.
No, Those kinds of games can’t be milked through battlepasses and expansions
>Can we actually get a good video game trying to adapt the experience, aesthetic, and atmosphere of TCM
Yes it's called the first chapter of resident evil 7. By itself it doesn't have enough substance to make a whole game around it, you would need to introduce different stuff like the swamp wading sections and alligators from Joe's dlc to keep it interesting. Final chapter would be you finally finding a gun and killing the whole family. But it would be a time intensive development since the environments and assets would need to be hand made like the house in order to ensure authenticity to the original movie.
Something like The Evil Within would’ve made a cool Nightmare On Elm Street game and I’m tired of pretending. Seamlessly moving from dream level to another dream level while evading Freddy’s traps and creations would be so cool.
Chucky almost had a single player game and I’m mad it never came out.
Dethrown? No way. I do look forward to it because it looks fun. But I worry that it will quickly die after after a few weeks or months.
>de-thrown DbD
I can't fathom any appeal to these games and don't even know how this became a genre.
