Then my brother Paul Jensen was working for the bad guys or something and how he’s being a double agent idk. And how I found this dude in the plane and I listened to his dialogue, I was gonna let him live for some reason but agent Navarro or something killed him. Then something about going to a base then switching a satellite antenna to help my brother and the good guys start shooting at me and now I’m a bad guy. I don’t know wtf is happening. gmdx completely changes the way skills work. meanwhile revision has multiple visual, gameplay, and audio overhauls that can be mixed and matched as you please with the vanilla settings in the menu.

i played both revision AND gmdx, they just have a different approach and goals, gmdx changes are subtle but clever, revision is more like an all in overhaul. personally I prefer gmdx because it's much closer to vanilla deus ex and the gameplay changes are actually interesting and add even more depth.

Not that I'm aware of, but i played it a couple of years ago. You can play GMDX if you want to mod the game to update it i guess. But I'd personally just play the original first. If you think it's too outdated then go with the mod i guess.

I was more thinking for stability and the like. I had to install a 4gb patch to make New Vegas playable and that only came out like 10 years ago.

For New Vegas? The game would just get unplayably laggy if I went to certain areas. Jacobstown in particular made the game a stuttery mess.
