I love blatant morrowboomer memes that try and cover their backs by sayng Arena and Daggerfall are big brained when nobody but slavs with laptops from 2005 play them.
Always wondered why no one on /vst/ played MTW2, then I loaded it up.
holy shit this is easily the worst Total War ever made. The way the units move makes you want to have a nice day. You order them to charge, only for them to kind of just hover there for a few seconds before the first line just kind of waddles forward and the rest just slowly float after them. And if one guy brushes against the enemy formation it's like a combination between superglue and a black hole, dragging the entire battalion into its orbit.
What the hell did they do to the engine after getting it so right with RTW? This is much worse than even the Warscape games. It's a shame, because the mods are top tier.

I used to defend this, but after playing RTW again, I changed my mind. Medieval 2's sluggishness feels good for heavy infantry and cavalry, since it gives them a feeling of weight. However, it makes skirmishers and light infantry a pain in the ass to manage, since skirmishing requires reactive units to work well.
Warband spam (and Celtic nations more generally) is one of my favorite R:TW tactics, but it would fall to pieces if done in M2, just because warbands lose their strength of rapid mobility when the sluggish responsiveness kicks in.
Why would they make one? It could ruin their no-good-games streak.
I'm still waiting for Skyrim 2
I am all of these depending on the mood.
I am 2 and 3
2 and 4 like a normal human

OLD GOOD, NEW BAD. Oblivion is fun
gay tried morrowind and uninstalled when he couldnt figure out fatigue
Yes, still have it do ill try it later
have you actually played Arena?
Arena is that game you play only to say you've played it. Everything it does, Daggerfall does better.
>Skyrim
This is true, but only because it's Skyrim for the X-Box 360
Console gay detected
Well they're owned by Microsoft now so it won't be Total War. Maybe you'll get an Age of Empire type of game.
Personally I'd want a Majesty-like.
Would unironically like an elder scrolls total war, so fricking tired of warhammer being spewed out over and over

Just let it die
The fanmade mods for total war and CK2 are probably better than literally anything Bethesda would make tbqh
