Anon, Hardcore in Blizzard terms means that if you die once, you are dead forever. We heard endless excuses why servers couldn't be sped up in the past, even after they implemented a queue system. Now they are just wasting resources on this crap. Even Diablo 4 suffers from massive slowdown.

the rules of the hardcore mode are stupid, soloing in a MMO is moronic. but permadeath in a MMO is even dumber. WoW just needs harsher penalties for death like Everquest.

PvP is turned off, it’s voluntary PvP only, no battlegrounds, and duels to the death are allowed. Hope you trust your dungeon healer though
