it's been a while since I did a vanilla run but you can solve puzzles as an adult in DC and spirit that will be solved as child.
You can break the curse of spiders in the future and collect the rewards as child.
I think all the chests are empty too as a kid if you open them as an adult. Would have been cool at least for more useless things like rupees if you could double loot. Chrono Trigger did this right.
Those aren't paradoxes, they're incongruencies
A paradox is a situation that creates itself - he teaches you the song as an adult which enraged him in the past, which enables you to go into the past and enrage him.
That's not a paradox, it's a closed loop. Standard paradox example: >I go back in time and kill myself as a baby >but then I'm never born >so nobody grows up to go back in time and kill me >so I am born >so I do go back in time and kill myself as a baby >so I'm not born
etc.
a closed loop has the end be the start and it justifies itself, it exists because it does and things happened because they already did
the grandfather paradox has the end contradict the start, if it happens it doesn't because it didn't and they couldn't happen because they can't
grandfather paradoxes don't work with closed loops since grandfather paradoxes need a third party who is completely detached from the events which closed loops inherently can't provide since they are by design fixed events that lead back around
Not gonna lie, sometimes I'd just stay in the windmill for a few minutes and listen to this (whilst occasionally running the merry-go-round in either direction).
um did anyone notice it kind of looks like he is jacking off
Now this is the kind of content I come to Ganker to see
yay, my favourite Ganker thread again
Were there any other time paradoxes in the game besides this guy teaching you the song?

Both are paradoxes.
>Who wrote the song if you played it
and
>How can you have a nice day if you're still alive
Are both unsolvable paradoxes.
Closed loop is a paradox, it's called ironically the same thing you're aiming at: the grandfather paradox.
a closed loop has the end be the start and it justifies itself, it exists because it does and things happened because they already did
the grandfather paradox has the end contradict the start, if it happens it doesn't because it didn't and they couldn't happen because they can't

What was his problem?
Bongo-Bongo banged his wife after Link let it out of the well
Bango Bango
Someone got his FRICKIN' windmill interior all wet by causing an indoor rainstorm.
Wait...who the frick composed the song? He learned it from Link and Link learned it from him.
They occured simultaneously so it always existed
It got brought over from Termina as it was composed there
>Gets cucked by a literal dog and kicked out of his hotel room in MM
Dude can't catch a break.
Zelda
What if it was just some other kid with an ocarina
the composer did
You just answered your own question you fool.
But who composed it?
who up crankin they hurdy gurdy
>created a closed time loop by simply existing
what the frick was his problem
*squeak squeak squeak squeak*
All he wants to do is play his music and keep the windmill running. Why do you want to ruin that? Why?
Just remember, ERP people, this is who that girl REALLY is
I know. I just don't really care.
Not gonna lie, sometimes I'd just stay in the windmill for a few minutes and listen to this (whilst occasionally running the merry-go-round in either direction).
Boo beh beh boodleee
Boo beh beh boodleee
Boodlehhhhh boodlehhhhh
Beh ba dehdeedleeooooo

Boodlehhhhh boodlehhhhh
Beh ba dehdeedleeooooo
Beh boo beedeh deh daa doo
I have the song note for note in my head and your gibberish still doesn't fit, try again.
>no one wants to hear about it now
>chocolate rain!
>That kid's song made it rain inside again
>Chocolate rain

what the FRICK was his problem?
Best song.
