Don't mention Two Point Hospital, it's repetitive as frick and has no charm. Theme Hospital is much better because it's just repetitive as frick

In Theme Hospital you can actually LOOSE, you can actually get a GAME OVER. In Two Point Hospital there is no failure state, it is impossible for you to ever loose. That is the big difference.

This is something I never understood about it
        >Introduce bunch of mechanics that on paper makes thing harder
        >Except you can't lose in the first place
        >You just simply no longer have the reception nurse present, since she's on her break

Also the solution is to just slap up awards on the wall to max out a rooms quality. Who thought this was a good game mechanic?

Two point campus fixes that issue. In general campus is a much better and more refined game.

How well does this run on Modern PCs?

Needs DOSBox, I think. I couldn't play it on Win10.

hmm worked on my machine through origin
can't remember if I had to set anything up though

It doesn't. From Win7 upward, you must have DoSBOX. XP already had issues with it, but it was still possible to launch it with minimal fiddling.

Very well, since it's a DOS game, and that means it automatically works with DOSBox.

there's an open source engine reimplementation called CorsixTH which adds support for modern systems, higher resolutions etc.
        no need to use dosbox

          >Zoom zoom zoom
I get it, typing two lines of command is scary, so is setting up an ini file to do it for you, but there is a limit how incompetent one can be

              >Why playing the actual game, when you can play a clone! Plus it doesn't require that scary typing two lines of commands!
              Imagine being a zoomer.
Imagine being proud of being tech-illiterate.
And don't even try pretending it's about some shit like sticking it to the man or whatever - you are simply too fricking lazy to boot a game via DOSBox

Tell me about it. After 25 everything is down hill.
Also remember bros, keep your old fricking laptops for those rare situations when the game is so scuffed that it needs the actual hardware; now or in the future (learned more from hentai, but applicable to vst as well).

There's a tab where you compare your hospital to the others in the area, when I was a kid I thought that there really was some other hospitals and there was some secret way to see them.

We can at least relive the old days.

Dosbox staging will even have automatic vga/ega/cga crt shaders applied by default.
VGA double scanlines low resolution automatically.

Pic related is using my own crt lottes spin off, not the new stuff but it's close.
The Staging branch really did a lot of good stuff in the last years, including fixing joystick so the ohms actually point at the fricking center like god intended.
