I've thought about this and even with the amount of diversity in the game I'm not really attached to any of the characters which normally isn't the case because every other gacha game I play there's at least one character I get attached to am I the only one that's like this?
I'm somewhat the same way. Out of all the characters despite everyone being pretty different I only like Leon, Vyron, Olivia and Rolf but even then none of them are a 10 out of 10.
Is the weapon suptix even worth it?
The only thing I can think to buy would be a Warship dupe, but even then it wouldn't be enough to get it max uncapped.
warship is garbage now, only senji and ukon are worth considering to suptix. Ukon souls have use and a max ukon is slightly better than a parashu but locked to light and senji is only useful when maxed but might see use in the next TA
it takes too long to scale, it's only used as a soul in the rare combo comp nowadays. Ukon and senji are definitely legit good and worth a suptix now imo.
Senji. I was in the same situation and grabbed an uncap for it. If you got 3 ingots lying around(possible if you got an S or above last TA and they give out 1 damascus crystal in the next 40 days) you can have a fully awakened senji by TA2, if the fastest team happens to require a senji

In most cases it's almost maxed by the time Silty's 2nd nuke is ready. It gets better after the gacha weapon buff since it gets a pretty comfy +15% float duration when at max uncap. But in terms of priority, it's Senji > Ukon > Blau > Grief > the rest. The healing bow is actually more useful for autoing the first abyss run.
Off hand, the dark sword is great for dark DA, the gun for wind SD, the new fist is just a streight upgrade for light fever, and I think there's a staff that will be out at some point for water SD.
Need a room to backup for 3 more times before complete, but there are practically no backup requests at the moment for any difficulty. Anyone willing to give a hand?
Important note: due to the unexpected rework of poison and unit buffs, junko is not nearly as good as she was in jp during this time. She was used before to activate kyaru's ability 3 which required you reach 500% skill damage to give 200% skill damage, but now that she is buffed she gives it without any condition. Bryce/NYYuwel are also probably better picks than her now due to the buff to poison.
She is still good for wanpans and a good dark support but not nearly as strong as in jp at the time

So I started playing this like 2 days ago, and to my surprise there was a zombieland saga collab. Saki is one of my most beloved characters of all time, but as a new player there was only so much I could do to get rolls.

the boss is only adv+ now so everyone is just bringing your standard wanpans like sgerald, sushi, mura. When godly is out you may want a proper sushi sd/sushi 4 in 1/saki miguel pflip team. But you should really be farming lich godly weapons in the meantime
Your usual combo float suspects. There hasn't been a single wind event in the game where combo float wasn't the strongest setup, despite how hard they try to push powerflip. The only content where it's not viable is the latest endgame solo series where the wind version literally forces you to do 20+ powerflips as quickly as possible at the start.

You honestly need to pull from a unit banner a few times. The game is not balanced around you using only the freebie units and you will miss out on dailies if you cannot clear them. I suggest pulling on the current ZLS banner since Lily, Junko, and Ai are all good units.

10 is very solid. I would go with 10. 8 is not too far behind but 10 has a limited in Junko who sees major use in raids in the future and in wanpan teams until then. Bulleta is also the top 1 out of the top 3.

Started a few days ago and will I be able to keep going with only a wind team since I pretty much only started with what I rolled and only have a wind team. I started mostly becuase I really like Dia's design and want to roll her Halloween version, but also I should wait for anniversary, but I also want Estariel. I'm really just trying to piece together what I should be doing.
halloween is good because of hrenoir so if you get her while on the way to dia then thats a bonus. Esteriel can be skipped and suptixed later on which is what majority of us will be doing.
if ure f2p then you wont be able to just outright purchase her. Hrenoir is a 4* so she's easier to get and she is also limited so she wont appear until her rerun next year while estariel is non limited. In the end it's up to you.
If you're comparing hDia to hRenior here then Renior is the one you should be looking to pick up especially since she's a 4 star. Wind is able to get away with less 5 stars since Kohane and Soushiro are already pretty strong.

Lakisha had already been phased out of water teams since it's possible to get 100% bar without her on the strongest wanpan setups. I think it was around Mishima Yuki's release where she got benched.
I don’t have Yuki so I still use her in SD, but that’s pretty much the only team she still sees use in. Powerflip and DA have their own better 100% gauge units. 25% gauge EX skills that apply even from the sub slot make 100% team gauge units not as core as they used to be.
bulleta. vyron loses value after this TA and rolf is good but not bulleta good. cheapest would be the rank packs. $20 nets you 3000 paid beads which is enough for 2 suptixes and 5000 free beads to flesh your anniversary funds

you don't need that many for trick claw, just max the weapon because it's only really used as bulleta weapon + soul, light PF isn't that important for a long while
theres no generic soul setup, has to be specific to teams because most (good) souls are locked to one element

Vyron, Bulleta, and Rolf are all still good investments since they are all-around good units, and Sera is still good Thunder support. The images do still list non-TA2 units in the "High Priority" section so those are good ones to upgrade. Batch 3 will come out in the middle of Anniversary so we have some time to stock up on MB2 materials before they drop. Pic related has some additional Batch 1 units worth investing in if you use them often; sadly I did not see one for Batch 2 posted yet.

Coffin is super cheap to make, since you have andy, luna and falsche you're already half way there, you don't really need many 5star units, your build just won't be as optimal but for candidates of replacements this should help

We're getting the Neon Skyline rerun this month so you should be able to get Love soon. The units that you get from the event gacha boxes (Love, Prika, sMarina, Kugui) never get added to the Star Speck shop so you have to wait for their event to rerun.
I think that a good pf team ends up being rainbow most of the time so i am not sure if those weapons will help you considering that bulleta is a busted pf provider; prioritize nostalgia over insanity but don't max either weapon until you have enough coins to buy all the copies you need

Light PF is locked to 6 light because the admin shield is so insane. I don't really think it'll perform as well without it. Light PF also wants durandall, the weapon nobody is going to trade for unless you are like a launch player with 150+ scrolls.

I kid, I kid, but you usually want to farm enough Purple coins to get all the weapons before trading for any of them just in case one drops from the Godly boss. You need 2,250 Purple coins in total to max out each Godly weapon, and each drop reduces that amount by 150.

When you do get sha place her under lily, slot under cecilia can be junko/lyra/keyana, but junko may mess up skill orders

SYuna is light fever DA, looks promising and can seemingly do a lot.
SPishika is water fever powerflip healer. idk about her position in those teams but she looks fine.
conclusion: solid banner, all seemingly have good uses except maybe spishika
Parfait is a sidegrade for Quare, much better for shorter fights. Shouta is the real winner since he's the first wind SD unit that hits the whole field for big damage.

Basic rolling advice right now would be to wait for the anniversary banner. Esteriel is a very strong wind unit, but she's not limited, and there should be a banner with a bunch of good light 5 stars in it right after, but they will also not be limited.
If you are patient you should be able to get a lot of thing you would have missed up to this point.

warship is garbage now, only senji and ukon are worth considering to suptix. Ukon souls have use and a max ukon is slightly better than a parashu but locked to light and senji is only useful when maxed but might see use in the next TA

Senji. I was in the same situation and grabbed an uncap for it. If you got 3 ingots lying around(possible if you got an S or above last TA and they give out 1 damascus crystal in the next 40 days) you can have a fully awakened senji by TA2, if the fastest team happens to require a senji

In most cases it's almost maxed by the time Silty's 2nd nuke is ready. It gets better after the gacha weapon buff since it gets a pretty comfy +15% float duration when at max uncap. But in terms of priority, it's Senji > Ukon > Blau > Grief > the rest. The healing bow is actually more useful for autoing the first abyss run.

Important note: due to the unexpected rework of poison and unit buffs, junko is not nearly as good as she was in jp during this time. She was used before to activate kyaru's ability 3 which required you reach 500% skill damage to give 200% skill damage, but now that she is buffed she gives it without any condition. Bryce/NYYuwel are also probably better picks than her now due to the buff to poison.
She is still good for wanpans and a good dark support but not nearly as strong as in jp at the time

You're thinking of Ai, she's the nerfed one by the recent patch. Junko is a meta unit for dark and some other teams.
How do you build a good wind team for the event? I have every wind unit except Kokkoro, Schult, biker zombie, Kugui, and green slime.
Regitare weapons might be an issue since I haven't run the Godly fight enough and I haven't had any from random drops either.
I would heavily prefer to have Mia in the team but can live for one event without her.

Your usual combo float suspects. There hasn't been a single wind event in the game where combo float wasn't the strongest setup, despite how hard they try to push powerflip. The only content where it's not viable is the latest endgame solo series where the wind version literally forces you to do 20+ powerflips as quickly as possible at the start.

You honestly need to pull from a unit banner a few times. The game is not balanced around you using only the freebie units and you will miss out on dailies if you cannot clear them. I suggest pulling on the current ZLS banner since Lily, Junko, and Ai are all good units.

halloween is good because of hrenoir so if you get her while on the way to dia then thats a bonus. Esteriel can be skipped and suptixed later on which is what majority of us will be doing.

if ure f2p then you wont be able to just outright purchase her. Hrenoir is a 4* so she's easier to get and she is also limited so she wont appear until her rerun next year while estariel is non limited. In the end it's up to you.
If you're comparing hDia to hRenior here then Renior is the one you should be looking to pick up especially since she's a 4 star. Wind is able to get away with less 5 stars since Kohane and Soushiro are already pretty strong.

Lakisha had already been phased out of water teams since it's possible to get 100% bar without her on the strongest wanpan setups. I think it was around Mishima Yuki's release where she got benched.

I don’t have Yuki so I still use her in SD, but that’s pretty much the only team she still sees use in. Powerflip and DA have their own better 100% gauge units. 25% gauge EX skills that apply even from the sub slot make 100% team gauge units not as core as they used to be.

theres no generic soul setup, has to be specific to teams because most (good) souls are locked to one element

Vyron, Bulleta, and Rolf are all still good investments since they are all-around good units, and Sera is still good Thunder support. The images do still list non-TA2 units in the "High Priority" section so those are good ones to upgrade. Batch 3 will come out in the middle of Anniversary so we have some time to stock up on MB2 materials before they drop. Pic related has some additional Batch 1 units worth investing in if you use them often; sadly I did not see one for Batch 2 posted yet.

Coffin is super cheap to make, since you have andy, luna and falsche you're already half way there, you don't really need many 5star units, your build just won't be as optimal but for candidates of replacements this should help

I think that a good pf team ends up being rainbow most of the time so i am not sure if those weapons will help you considering that bulleta is a busted pf provider; prioritize nostalgia over insanity but don't max either weapon until you have enough coins to buy all the copies you need
Light PF is locked to 6 light because the admin shield is so insane. I don't really think it'll perform as well without it. Light PF also wants durandall, the weapon nobody is going to trade for unless you are like a launch player with 150+ scrolls.

its usually safe to start trading around the 1500 mark unless you want the weapon immediately

Basic rolling advice right now would be to wait for the anniversary banner. Esteriel is a very strong wind unit, but she's not limited, and there should be a banner with a bunch of good light 5 stars in it right after, but they will also not be limited.

if you really want to take it to the limit, keep the first 3, reroll another 7 accounts with rolf/vyron/bulleta. Save all your rolls on every account until Xbianca and roll there, dont forget to do the free pulls for Aregis. Then after Xbianca, drop every account who didnt get her. After Beaucy you can select the best account out of all the remaining ones.
Xbianca>Aregis>Beaucy=Aphilia>Ahanabi>Asilty in terms of account value.
imo you should just start plowing through the story to save beads for ARegis, XBianca, and the anni triple
