Nu-Writers rerconned everything know about the Afterlife. The Light isn't actually real and Death Magic is the strongest in the universe because frick you. The four major Afterlives are ruled by two of the most abhorrently fricking incompetent women ever, a vampire whose evil is as subtle as his giant pauldrons, and the one actually semi-competent guy who got somehow got kidnapped.
The main bas guy bebind literally every single bad thing in the entire universe is a blue Thanos ripoff who was literally never mentioned before SL and dies within like two patches saying he knly did because THERE'S A BIGGER BAD. Also Sylvanas gets away with attempted mass genocide because it turns out her feelings were really hurt, and also Anduin is probably fricking her now.

It turns out the Titans are evil and actually brainwashed and enslaved all the dragons except some SOOPER SEKRET OMEGA DRAGONS and those dragons turned to the Elements (you know those things that the Old Gods corrupted?) and became PRIMAL INCARNATES and you just like immediately fricking kill one before the first patch but THEN THE OTHER THREE GET OUT and one of them is basically just Deathwing 2.0, he's the fricking Earth dragon and he's been seduced by Void shit, only he looks like a fraction as menacing as Deathwing actually did so it's honestly like a big joke. Oh and the Water dragon was actually Alexstrazsa's super secret girlboss best friend who hates her now and talks shit about her despite never having been mentioned or existing before this fricking expansion
