I enjoyed SoD in phase 1, when it was mostly leveling and quests in the world with some new content. Then phase 2 came out, and there was barely any gear to bother getting because the raid gear from BFD was so good, and the phase was so short that I barely got to do Gnomeregan before phase 3 started. Then P3 turned the whole game into “just grind nightmare incursions until level 50, buy emerald gear, and raid.” They turned it into an even worse retail somehow.

But in BFA, literally EVERYTHING had RNG on RNG on RNG.
It was front and center nonstop.
In legion i passively increased my Artifact weapon and I had a good time and until the later half with Argus, it didnt have any RNG baked into its progression.
