My friend just started playing Retail after saying he'd never go back. I asked him what he's even doing in Retail and he said "mythic plus dungeons" and that it's less of a time commitment than raiding. What is that? I haven't played wow since like 2007.
iirc its dungeons but more difficult and timed. you need to have some degree of coordination and kill packs more efficiently, mistakes are punished more than usual
It's a seasonal hard mode dungeon difficulty that scales infinitely, like Diablo rifts. If you complete a +15, you get the highest level gear reward, but people push even higher for a place on the leaderboard. They might have different mechanics depending on the week. You will do the same dungeon repeatedly, and you will enjoy it.
