i guess we will see this tuesday if they announce the end of the pvp season, if not op is lying
Has classic exposed that TBC and WOTLK were shit expansions all along?
Yea. Population died at record pace once the honeymoon phase was over. Not even Ulduar was enough to bring them back, further cementing how overrated the raid as a whole is.
the raid was beaten in like 2 weeks. everyone is burnt out. its almost worse than retail. HC classic is the only vanilla experience atm but even the soul of that is completely different
Nah Ulduar pre nerf is good, but the community for ICC was legit dog shit. A bunch of 30 year olds who thought they were great in 2008 for clearing baby mode Naxx.
tbc classic's issue was that there was no patch progression. release tbc and sunwell tbc were 2 very different games. i imagine wrath has same issue. didnt play it because i hate wrath.
Yeah 2.0 and 2.4.3 are very different.
I feel like some classes were more overtuned in 3.0. Tier 7 and the heroic dungeons were always a pushover.
TBC was always great. WotLK was always half great with 50 million morons spamming about it being the best
I mean, WoTLK at least is a very popular expansion when it comes to private servers population. TBC not even that. Can't deny it has some very comfy zones though
Yep. To be fair Blizzard had a big hand in it since they added boosts and money tokens and some minor shit. Vanilla classic was surprisingly great for the first few months.
TBC was exposed hard.
Eh... Same can be said for vanilla classic. What classic really exposed is that MMORPGs were always dogshit, what made them fun in the first place were the players who played them.
Modern WoW community is fricking dogshit and addicted to minmaxing and meta gaming, to the point where players will take fun out of anything - even if it means swiping the credit card to buy boost and skip the actual game.
who gives a shit moron
>LFM ICC 25, GDKP only. Shards start at 10k
SOUL
>gdkp
frick this fricking system and everyone who endorses it
is that... trivial content released 15 years ago?! blizzard we kneel
and it mogs troonyflight by a mile
>this game is dogshit but not as dogshit as the other version of my game 🙂
Both versions of the game are troony shit, homosexual.
cope troony
post your female human char so we can all see
a stripped down and shittier version of Naxx from vanilla, you have no tastes, you have no class, you have no morals, you have no ethics, you are subhuman
wrath is getting era servers when they move to cataclysm.
if tbc was sooooo good how come they got no era servers?
>mmmmh
awkwardly in-between the trilogy. It doesn't have the soul of classic with the OG world while not having the casual elements of Wrath.
As far as private servers go out of the whole trinity TBC was always the least popular, lightyears behind both Wotlk and Vanilla. Wotlk always had larger population than both combined.
It's only recently that Vanilla started taking over because everyone played Wotlk to death for the last decade + millennials grew older so their adhd brains are now able to handle Vanilla leveling.
tbc pservers always die after kara lol
Because of issues with organising 25 man raids. This literally kills every TBC server. TBC is unironically the least guild friendly expansion in history of WoW. Hear me out:
You still have the autistic shit from vanilla like the attunement quests and the need to clear every sickie single raid to progress to t5 and t6 while getting the rep. This means that you need to have a dedicated group of 25 raiders who don't skip a single week. Replacing even 2 players due to real life obligations with fresh blood means going through the whole process of clearing all former raids again. I've seen guilds stuck on the grul/kara loop for months as people come and go.
At the same time TBC started taking on the modern pve approach of harder 25 man raids that require more cohesion and people with hands so you can't just pug with complete randoms that don't even know strategy like you could through majority of vanilla.
Meanwhile, future expansions did things that make raiding easier for smaller guilds: Wotlk has basically abandoned the attunement shit and introduced emblems right of the bat which made replacing players easier. Cata introduced 10 man raids and so on
>caring about ICC
Let me know when Classic+ gets announced.
