I can, but it's not just 50 bucks every two ish years. I'd have to actually play the game for around 6 months to feel like I'd gotten a good deal AND the game would have to be enjoyable
Modern WoW is not enjoyable for a variety of factors, including that I've changed since I first logged on all those years ago. It's not a good time investment, nor a monetary one
that's ok. if you're interested at least the best thing you can do is follow alpha/beta (now in alpha) and see if you like what you see
I do like things about WoW, but at this point it's either because it's what I'm familiar with or because no other game does it. The Forsaken, for instance, are my favourite playable race because they're edgy zombies. Would I play an Ogre? Or a Naga? Or a spider-centuar-bug? Hell yeah. Can I? No. Instead we get Vulpera, more elves, cyborg gnomes instead of real mechagnomes, or "evolved" bipedal spiders that are designed by furry artists with their tastes in mind first.
That, combined with the constant lore breaking, piss poor story, annoying characters and agendas, and aggressive monetization, means I'll just watch WoW rot from the sidelines until it finally dies and something springs up to fill its gap

Looking at the rebalanced talent trees for monk and I like that alot of akward spells like bonedust brew and rushing jade wind either got melded into other spells or just taken out. It looks like they will be alot more fun to play in TWW
