Yes especially for multiplayer server, it's the best walking dead game you can ever imagine
I have 300+ hr in it but never played solo though it's kinda boring after mid game, just go for it and find a good server with fresh wipe

Dunno how anyone can ask for this. Did they not try the mod? Having NPCs is fricking annoying at best and a death sentence at worst.
Which is why we want official NPCs dummy. If modders can do it then the devs should be able to make a better one
they ask for npcs because npcs were in the game years ago and got removed because the devs are drooling idiots

It takes a ton of grinding.
I think leather armor is something you do to keep yourself busy once you got a self sustaining base running.

Multiplayer is a sloppy dog turd. Its broken. Everything is "fun with frens" Thats no god damn excuse to leave so many broken features in the game. Half the skills do nothing in MP and crafting is so bare bones you can't make jack shit. All the electronics items dont work in MP.
You will need to heavily mod the game to make it playable. Even after you do that your broke ass better have a top tier CPU because the game has no texture buffer, your CPU has to draw everything you see every single time you move. This kills your PC dead if you visit the city.
CDDA is free and much better

It's a sandbox game, you make your fun with the tools it gives you. If you are one of those people that needs for a game to have a clear objective, play something else.

Its fun. Until you figure out cheese strategies and/or have figured out how to survive long enough. Once you get a supressed gun and a sledgehammer its pretty much endgame (boring as shit) unless you're the type who likes clearing out buildings/basebuilding autist etc.
There are so many workshop mods for this, the game is basically finished. Every feature people wanted exists.

There aint no mod that adds a working texture buffer lol the dev clearly gave up on this game. The spent most of last year attacking the mod community who tried to fix the games broken systems.

there is zero reason at all to grind anything at all in zomboid as you don't need anything to live forever, step 1: dont get hit bro step 2: you won step 3: restart game with anime high school mod + leashes + horde night

its borderline unplayable without mods. So much is straight up unexplained, broken or non existent and has to be patched together with mods to resemble a functioning game. Once you do find the right suite of mods, it is a pretty decent game.Trying to mod multiplayer is a fricking nightmare though
