It shouldn't look that bright, it is an emulator bug. The problem of using the hack is that nightime, caves and indoors will look too dark so you have to enable/disable it constantly.

Can that be done ingame then? I toggled this before even starting the game but then the starting screen was too dark so I toggled it off. And by toggle I mean I have to close the game and then mess with the options and then open it again. I don't know if there's a way to do so with the game running.
You can do it in-game, just exit fullscreen and open the graphics packs window (or whatever it is called) while the game is running.
Sadly, I don't think there's any way to bind it to a hot-key.

Some kind of ultimate happy end for all the key players in the trilogy. Probably involves using the Trinity Processors to anchor each universe or something. The party members will probably be the main couple of each series, and you'll get to play a Shulk/Fiora ouroboros and a Rex/Pyra ouroboros too.
