I mostly agree with you but I bought the Astro City mini and the Egret mini and I love them a lot. I'm not interested in the others though but this could be interesting.
it's a very odd knock-off blast city and I've never found another like it.
I added a PC + JPAC, Sanwa sticks/buttons and had the marquee printed up. Binned the JAMMA box that came with it.
I own a computer so I emulate. I own an arcade stick and a game pad. The performance and experience is better than any of your shitty ARMulation boxes. >18 amiibos
Pathetic.
> apparently there were quite a few indie games that disappeared, if only someone could find those games
everything known about it has been archived. the x68000 scene wasn't very big during it's day. also, the machines were very expensive. it's only been in the last 10 years there's been a revival of x68k but unfortunately it has produced nothing note worthy. incredibly fricking rare to see new productions/music/art/whatever for x68k. it's criminal.
>Would you buy an x68k mini? >more ARM powered trash >Zuiki
haha. frick NO. especially not if those hacks are producing it. the mini megadrive was a piece of shit.
If you forced me to buy one of these awful little things, this would probably be my choice, the system has peak aesthetic design and would look alright on a shelf.
Wow this image is a great example of why fan translations are terrible. They literally just made shit up instead of properly translating the text that was written.
>dumping your wife and kids to screw around with diseased hookers
story of my life
Why would you frick diseased hookers when you can fun your wife and kids?
yes
will it ever happen?
probably not
>will it ever happen? probably not
It's being teased by the company who's responsible for all the other mini consoles, so it's looking like it might be a reality.
I might as well just get a Raspberry Pi 400 and emulate the x86x on it. I think there are people in japan who would be nostalgic for such a mini device, though.
I wish it was possible to somehow install the OS of old computers like x68k or PC98 onto a Pi and then hook up a keyboard and use it like a mini version of the real thing. That would be so cool
PC-88 seems to be working, but I haven't tested it personally. Would be interested to know what worthwhile PC-88 games are out there, without requiring fluency in Japanese language.
PC-98 core is in the works, no estimates yet on the completion date.

After some googling, apparently there is also a publicly available PC-98 core at http://fpga8801.seesaa.net/
emulating a computer on my computer doesn't necessitate extra hardware.
mini consoles sell well because ease of use of plug and play. a mini computer on top of your computer adds extra steps.
mini shits in general are stupid as frick

I bought a knock off blast city full size cab for the same price as the astro city mini.
Lmao give me more info on that please. Post pics.

How much of a soicuck consoomer do you have to be to actually buy these pozzed mini consoles? Are by surrounded by figurines and amiibos too?
I have 18 amiibos on a shelf with my boxed games.
>consoomer
Are you one of those own nothing and like it homosexuals?
I own a computer so I emulate. I own an arcade stick and a game pad. The performance and experience is better than any of your shitty ARMulation boxes.

Pathetic.
You will own nothing and like it.
Got anymore stupid memes to spout?
No because mini bullshit are for big gay.
But I'd buy a real X68000.
What's that game?
toushin toshi 2
With HD mini, Zuiki might include more. Hope they won’t take Konami/M2 route of PCE release during lockdown crap.
>to play cps1 games
sharp barely had any games, but apparently there were quite a few indie games that disappeared, if only someone could find those games

Super Nintendo use x68k hardware instead 65186 shit.
Super Nintendo is just an Apple II GS console
That what disappointing about.

Would I ever use it? Of course not.
All the way.
Why when I can get a real one from Nippon?
Asia-play

Even Gankerccuracy translator have knowledge.
What does the image say?
it will continue
Thanks!
No. Something tells me that audio options are going to be limited.
>Do you want a cheap commodity arm processor, running a closed source emulator, jammed in a cheap plastic box that resembles something you want?
This is akin to dumping your wife and kids to screw around with diseased hookers.

Answer for me is probably not, but I am interested in the platform as well as PC-98. Wish I had a better way of emulating them at the moment
in a hearbeat
yes
will it ever happen?
probably not
Ok

You can sort of do this for Sharp X68000 and PC-88 with MiSTer.
Compatibility isn't 100% there yet, though.
Will MiSter ever get a complete PC-88 core? Or a PC-98 core?
