No. I can justify getting a vr headset or an expensive PC or any silly tech gadget because to me the equation is entertainment time(h)>(costx2)= "a good investment"
And as long as the only factors are my time and money i can justify that to myself.
A brain chip is like a tatoo but in your head.
Not to mention what happens if it just breaks on its own or if you get a concusdion while having wires in your brain.
Then we come to the fact that at this stage its still just a proof of concept so if you want to implant a prototype into your head wich has none of the safety and design features that extensive testing naturally bring and thats like looking at the first automobile and thinking "yeah im ginna surgically bond myself to that"
