I bought GTA5 because a friend of mine was addicted to the online and he wanted me to play it. The online literally didn't work and kept crashing like 5 minutes in each time I logged in

this. GTA falls flat with how relatetable the characters are. Since GTA IV they're going to route of adding annoying losers as their protags. The fun about GTA is becoming an ultra rich man who owns the whole city in the end, not hearing lamentations after lamentations throughout the whole game with some corny betrayal story mixed in. GTA 3 did it rid because the protag never said one word.
That's not even the least of it. The way they've treated modders ever since GTA4 has been disgusting. Removing the OG games from stores, the abysmal remasters over the years, PC ports constantly getting the short straw, the shameless greed with GTAO.
Only if it releases on PC at the same time as consoles and it's optimized...
So I probably won't be buying at full price. If I'm waiting an extra year anyway for the PC game, I might as well wait two extra years for the patched version at a discount.
of course I would, with all of the time and effort devs put into their games this day, and with inflation to consider $100 would only be a fair price to pay for such quality games like the GTA series
you are asking the wrong people. Gankerermins are the type that have no problem spending $2,000 on a GPU and building a $5,000 PC that needs its own nuclear power plant to run but won't buy a game till it hits Steam sales and they can get it for like $8 and only if they can't pirate it first.
I'm not gonna buy it at all because it's beyond obvious to anyone paying attention that it's going to be built more or less around the online mode so Rockstar can push more MTX than ever before.
