It's quite obvious he lost whatever passion he had for the nerd character years ago. I suppose he keeps doing it because it's the only internet thing he does that makes money, specially after he wasted all the dosh he made during the golden years of AVGN in the movie.
It's crazy how great he was at reviews, not just games but his horror reviews were also great. He has such a passion for movies, but his movie wishes it was 'Ashens and the Quest for the Gamechild'. I think he resents that his best attempts at making a movie fell flat and he's starting to resent the nerd character. I hope he starts doing an 'A few minutes with Andy Rooney' type thing, he's naturally good at exposition and monologues.
