You want a bunch of mechanics without understanding why they work and how they interact wish each other. You will never get deflection in a Souls game, ever, especially if you also want that Souls game to have the combat tempo dragged by combos which would be trivialized by it.
Deflection kills the spacing game and moveset balance too hard to be a thing

great idea, great scenery, but it sucks where it matters even after their horde of updates trying to salage the game. don't regret the 50 hours but this game is dogshit and you should buy it on sale if at all.
Not dark souls specific but I want all future souls games to have a hot key button where the face buttons & the dpad can be assigned any equipped item, spell or ash of war to use on the fly & also serve as a stance button that makes light & heavy attacks do alternate moves, maybe special attacks that use mp or cost durability.
