I started as a lvl 1 and the leveling experience is fricking terrible. Idk how they can expect to attract new players
>after a tutorial zone which is quite ok, you're directed to the bfa campaign, and you're automatically treated as a seasoned champion
>level scaling applies everywhere and there's no sense of progression or immersion. You can kill big bad guys as a level 10
>in rdf you get grouped with people from varying levels who say nothing and rush to the end
>you will hit max level -10 way too fast before even coming close to finish the campaign, and then you're prompted to do the dragonflight content which has absolutely nothing to do with bfa
>story sucks ass
>The game is piss easy and it's impossible to come close to dying. It feels like the game is playing itself and you're just an spectator
>the combat is of course not engaging and it doesn't matter which spells you use because you're extremely op
>you get bombarded with constant gear, which feels meaningless
>you automatically learn new spells, but there's barelyno need to use them or to learn how to play
>0 incentive to level up professions
>I don't even know what to do with the gold
And apparently raiding and m+, which are the "real" game are quite difficult. Then why did blizz make leveling such a bore? Isn't leveling supposed to teach you how to play?
Do season of discovery, it just started and pretty sure is included in your sun you already brought.
It’s wow on steroids.
moron
Yes you are
Its pretty boring so far honestly
>the same game from 20 years ago except with some remixed content
Woah pls blizz take my $15 monthly sub
Season of discovering people finished all the content in 1 day
>if I'm a minmaxing homosexual and intentionally ruin things for myself they aren't fun
woah wow
Sorry I want to play the game with m+kb on my pc instead of donkey konga drums on a steam deck
Intentionally handicapping myself isn't my idea of fun
?????????
What the frick are you talking about you fricking schizo
That's the only way to drag out the content for more than a couple days at most. Pressing your spells with your balls or spending 15 minutes roleplaying before killing each mob
Pretending to be a moron isn't funny or interesting
Then why do you keep doing it?
Oh wait, you're not pretending are you...
The content was not hard to find at all. This wasn't some big deep mystery, half the shit just tells you what to do and where to go while the other half is just killing some mob.
You didn't get to level cap and figure everything out in a day.
Season of Discovery means you have incredibly low IQ. I'd sooner do a naked run of Dark Souls 2 with a dagger than play that filth
A new player is clueless and wouldn't be jaded and picky like this, everything would be new and full of discoveries
You cannot be serious
I'm an actual new player who started a couple of months ago (well, not that I know if OP is larping or not).
1) It's precisely as a new player that starting thr BFA campaign where you're hailed as a champion is so dissonant. It was highly distracting and completely killed any sense of immersion in the world or my character since abruptly it was so obviously all fake.
2) Funnily my first dungeon was Atal'dazar which is in the current M+ rotation. I did extremely low damage for reasons still unknown to me and the tank posted DPS numbers after every boss, possibly because of me. It put me off doing dungeons for an extremely long time since I was scared of doing low damage for unknown reasons.
3) The story did indeed suck ass (this includes Dragonflight). The barrage of gear also sucked ass.
4) I actually wouldn't call it "piss easy", but that's because I played Mage and so was very vulnerable. It was difficulty/engaging to try and kill a bunch of enemies at one time with Combustion even during generic quests. But I leveled a druid recently and on a tank it went was pathetically easy and boring so that's up to class variance.
It's like blizz doesn't even try to get new players. It just catters to m+/raiding bokmers and whales
Canceraids players just aren't tolerable in this day an age
>And apparently raiding and m+, which are the "real" game are quite difficult.
only if you're trying to push bleeding edge content
Heroic raiding and M+ in the 16-20 range aren't that difficult
So heres the part when you go to vanillaplus.org and play a wow server that rapes you instead of free wins
>vanillaplus.org
looks better than classic
>all these typos
If they can't even make a website, how are they going to make a video game?
damn you need to nolife the game to hit level 25? sucks to suck
i ain't reading your blog Black person and why even make a thread? the game is trash move on
Why are you even replying Black person
That’s why WoW died, and XIV stole its title as the most popular MMO on the market. If you can never grow, then it’s only a matter of time till you’re surpassed
XIV isn't an MMO
Cope
Yes that is what you are doing.
>no it’s not an mmo because…
>BECAUSE IT JUST ISNT OK?
>strawman
Not an argument
No argument in, no argument out
Obviously, its a WoW-clone after all.
level scaling is the single reason I don't play it
just play classic hc, fun and progression actually means something since you can't die.
Anon couldn't die even if he tried in dragonflight yet he didn't feel like his progression mattered thoughever
Just pay for a level boost. You're not a poorgay, are you?
>Paying money to avoid playing what a game has to offer
I can't even
Now you see how mentally ill wowgays are. They hate their game so much they pay to not play it and then pay to skip raiding so they can get gear. The entire design philosophy is absolutely fricked.
The 1-60 leveling experience is no longer really "what the game has to offer," and more a tax on time before you can play the real game. 60-70 is more of a real video game with the DF campaign, so boosting to 60 is more preferable to boosting to 70, but the difference is honestly kind of slight.
Right now, WoW is not at all a game about leveling, or exploring the world, or taking one's time, etc. WoW is currently a game where you log in, do your weekly raid, play some M+, then log out. Raid and M+ is the only gameplay content with effort put into it and the only gameplay that's fun to do, which means having to level 1-60 is nothing but a detriment.
