When designing something, especially a pokemon design, being """""clever"""" shouldn't be the main focus.
A design has to be pleasant and nice to look at first and foremost. It doesn't matter if they slap a billion hidden references and meanings on it it looks like shit. Which is Raikou's case.
>Scarlet paradox: Interesting new idea applied to an existing Pokemon >Violet paradox: Literally just an existing Pokemon drawn as a robot every time
Man I love robots and robot animals but it feels like the Violet guys are way more limited in how creative they can be. Even applies to their stiff naming scheme. I get that it's been decided that they all have to be robots for whatever reason, but the Scarlet guys get to be prehistoric AND have another spin.
>Brute Bonnet
They did exactly what that guy said, added prehistory themes (four legs and tail, sharp teeth) while also having another spin (hanging moss from it's mushroom cap, giving it an "untamed" look that inherently ties into it's basis as a Grass type).
>What the absolute frick is that abomination of Raikou though
It's a Brontosaurus. The name literally means Thunder Lizard.
Its an extremely clever design, only morons on vp will dislike it
yeah too bad it doesn't look like a Sauropod >literally just Raikou's head >giant swirling mane >puny thin bolt tail
this reads more like a fricking giraffe and the color scheme doesn't help. I love dinosaurs and this inspires no joy.

>Interesting new idea applied to an existing Pokemon >Jigglypuff with hair >Misdreavus with hair >Amoonguss with… hair, and a tail
Both sides have their stinkers, but generally they’re all pretty good on both sides, the only one I find bad is Hydreigon, since it’s hardly any different, other Violet paradox make up with their animations
I feel like the base game's future paradoxes were a little more creative. Iron Treads is essentially an unrelated robot pretending to look like Donphan, Iron Hands has crazy floating hands, Iron Valiant is an analgamation of two evolutions (there if you relate the Kirlia pig tails).
But the raid future paradoxes just look like "________ but metal". No real gimmick or flare.
Long Raikou is long
>cobalion face
So basically only 8 new paradoxes, basically leftover of both trios, nothing else huh
*4 dammit
Cobalion looks pretty cool.
It's just Cobalion, very boring design comparatively.
At least Cobalion is decent. What the absolute frick is that abomination of Raikou though. Worst Pokemon in history candidate?
Give it a week or two and pokegays will be slurping the sludge, calling it a based and purposely ugly design.
I like it more than the metal recolor., not great, but worst pokemon has to be in that pile of scrap metal that we call future paradoxes.
>What the absolute frick is that abomination of Raikou though

It's a cool idea wasted on a Raikou variant. Now the electric bronto has to look like a tiger because lol paradoxes

Nah, this form is fine. Its the dogshit Turtle people hated.
It's one of those things from Horizon
>johturds get shitty long-necked abomination
>unovaGODS get badass robot
today has been a good day
How can it see it's own toes or where it's walking?

Brute Bonnet, Scream Tail, and Great Tusk literally just have generic dinosaur/caveman bits slapped on. Flutter Mane is only slightly better at best.

At least the MMX Mavericks look good
>dude what if pokemon but robot
>dude what if pokemon but caveman
all base game paradoxes were boring as shit except for slither wing and valiant
>Kirin Brontosaur Raikou
Cool, good job gamefreak
They're gonna add Paradox Entei/Terrakion, collecting all 3 in each set will get you Paradox Ho-oh/Keldeo.
Electric/Dragon and Steel/Psychic?
For some reason Cobalion looks like a celestial metal creature
It's a robot talbuk from WoW.
yeah too bad it doesn't look like a Sauropod

keep crying tyrantrum cuck, your boring cartoon to-Rex was cut for a reason
Imma need someone to put Melman's face on Raikou
Some things don't change.
heart-eyes edit when
Why a goddamn, A GODDAMN DINOSAUR
Can't wait to see the trio fusions.
FUTURE CHADS ASSEMBLE

of course the troony obsessed moron can't even reply correctly

Terrible. I didn't like the Suicune one either. Did they bastardize Entei, too?
Official Paradox Pokemon names: Raging Bolt and Iron Crown.
Hey "x were a mistake" anon, where are you right now?
Sarupodgays in shambles.
Raikou got the new Flaming Hot Jordan colab.

Those are the only 3 with any notable differences from the original.
Didn't like PRaikou in the trailer, but the cloud scarf saves it
Time travel bros, what is that entei?
>entei
mans watched the alternate trailer with paradox entei and terrakion
