Moreover, I've replayed the entire UT GOTY Edition Single Player Campaign something like a year ago. Trust me, there are cutscenes in that game. And rewards like trophies for playing through the Single Player. Also, as you play more, you unlock more LORE about the world the game is taking place in. And all of that offline, with 0 patches to download or 0 additional costs. Plus, I can, and actually did play it at a LAN party a little over 2 years ago with other IT nerds. UT (and GOTY edition) Has frick all to do with Theme Parks or MMO's. >Not my point about personal preferences.

There's really hardly any. What cutscenes are you talking about? The only ones I can think of are the intro sequence (before starting multiplayer), the tutorial section (if it can even be counted as a cutscene) and the ending where you're just like victory posing.

I actually gave it another look earlier in the year, and unfortunately they were just starting to field the FOMO seasonal unlocks model of every other live service 'product'. Dunno how it turned out. I wasn't about to starting paying for the luxury of being obliged to play to unlock what was paid for... before its too late.
