>6 week event >rewards are gated behind a battle pass with 40 tiers >blizzard has gone on to say that it will take about 4 games per reward tier, or 160 games total for everything >if you just do one tier per day and do it every day you will finish with 2 days remaining in the event if you start on day 1 >all of the rewards are fomo cosmetics in a game where the players are mentally buckbroken about fomo cosmetics
Hm I wonder how this will go
>blizzard has gone on to say that it will take about 4 games per reward tier, or 160 games total for everything
It's actually 5 gamer per tier and 200 total. That's with the 500 participation points you get for existing. You can get up to 300 more points if you win though.
you're essentially in a vehicle even though it looks like a character
R is attack
T is 30 second cooldown, channeled heal
your abilities 12345 have to be picked up from chests or kills, and they can be stacked with themselves for more power, up to 5
they are things like dashes, ground aoes, pulls, aoe burst hits
fights have the same tempo as the arena system, you trade hits a bit, until someone runs out of health or abilities
its usually better to just run from fights and try to get strong abilities or easy kills
hiders survive to the end but cant win the last few fights
That's too bad, but I'm going to be optimistic and say that the team has a lot to learn from this game mode. Things that can be applied to retail especially.
played 4 games so far, came in 3rd, 1st, 10th, and 2nd
im still only rank 2 out of 40. this is a terrible grind
none of your abilities feel like you connect with your opponent.
I just want to emphasize that this game mode is just testing for serious changes coming to retail. It needs to be trimmed of fat and bloat and return to being an accessible title that anyone can pick up and play.

I just care about the gameplay. How does it feel? Is it fun?
watched some twitch streams since im an EU-player and shit looks kino
Better than average retail/sod pvp, but that isn't saying much.
Could have been better, could have been a lot worse.

very, very boring, even the first time you play

Maybe they're trying new things in a different game to test the waters
I hope so.
Wow that sounds fricking terrible.

Was having fun collecting treasure and abilities until the moment i got disconnected....Not even five minutes into the game...
It amazes me how much further Blizzard keeps sinking.
Eh, it's fine.
If you are into pvp in general you will likely like it.
Go buy an ad
i like it only time I have ever subbed to wow.
I know you don't want to hear it, but the Plunderstorm mode is actually pretty fun.
it's fun for 1 game, dogshit from the second game onwards

There's only one battle royale and it's called PUBG
It's peak kino, all the fun without the usual cancer that ruins pvp.
Shame it's a br tho.
it looks like shit, mobile game tier. and streamers are being paid to play it so ofc morons are hyped.
I don't even know what's happening at blizzard anymore
