The whole "pixels look better on CRT" is true but that's just an argument against pixelshit in modern games. HD sprites always look better, even with simple designs.

I wouldn’t say I’m blinded by nostalgia, but nostalgia is definitely a large part of why I keep a small CRT around. I just genuinely prefer playing my old consoles on a CRT whenever I hook them up. I honestly like the way 4:3 video looks on CRTs, too.

I did grow up with CRTs and I miss them. Had a big 36 incher in our living room until I was 13, and I had a small set with a built in VHS player in my bedroom to play PS2 on until I was 10. Sorry to say this bro but you're wrong.
