>t. gwimbly
thank you
but id rather have an ibuki thread
If you're gonna mention fighters, can we give Clayfighter some love?
Absolutely not frick you
Okay, jeez. MK, at the very least?
sure why notdon't have an issue with Clayfighter either, just never played it
Correct. Warped, especially the platforming, is a bit too easy, but the ways in which 2 are difficult is not fun.
The backtracking isn't fun, most of the skull routes, the hidden boxes, it's all just tedious and tiresome.
How does it fare in the N. Sane remake?
>N. Sane remake
Who gives a shit? I'm not playing that garbage
I played both, but I do like OG's lighter jump physics better.
at least 2 doesn't have all the shitty vehicle levels
especially the motorcycle levels, genuinely the worst vehicle controls in any videogame I've ever played
2 instead has the shitty space levels at the end.
>backtracking isn't fun
It's better than in 3 and 1, especially on replays.
>Plane levels
Nah, frick off. 2 is peak Crash
1 is peak Crash
>swimming levels
>motorcycle levels
>plane levels
>blocking relic progression behind a pointless sprint ability unlocked at the end
Literally everything warped introduces is dogshit, I grew up with the game and you have shit taste. is wrath of cortex le hidden gem too?
>swimming levels
There are 2, and they're both great
>motorcycle levels
Kino
>plane levels
These suck
>blocking relic progression behind a pointless sprint ability unlocked at the end
Yes, and? Time trial mode is obviously intended as an additional challenge after you finish the main game
>is wrath of cortex le hidden gem too?
Yes.
1 is the best but 2 is good. 3 I don't hate as much as everyone else seems to but it's definitely the weakest of the trilogy and the gimmick levels aren't very good. I feel the exact same way about the Spyro trilogy as well.
I don't know OP, never I have never sucked dick let alone 3 at a time. If you think 3 at once is better then godspeed you glorious homosexual.
3 is better than 2 at least, we can all agree on that
sucking 3 dicks is better than sucking 2?
Well, if you say so... You're the expert.
>>>Ganker is the contrarian bait board, OP.
>Blocks your path
For me it's 1 and 3 being equally good but for different reasons. 1 for the pure platforming, less is more design; and 3 for the diversity. I can enjoy both things, it doesn't have to be one or the other. I genuinely enjoy ever type of levels in Crash, except the plane ones which are a bit bland but there are only 2. I love the bike levels, they're some of my favourites.
2 is the first one I had as a teen. I like it but for me it's not as good as 1 or 3. Also it has the animal race levels and the jetpack levels, and the surf parts too, so let's not pretend it's pure platforming.
I had the polar bear riding level on a demo disc. I played it to death.
those 4 polar leves are good
and the jepack ones are fun too
I like all 3 three games and think each one is worth replaying, because it has something unique to offer. On average, I have the most fun with 2 and the least fun with 3, but I would never begrudge anyone for finding the opposite. 3 has great boss fights, cool looking environments, and a very extensive move set that's fun to chain together. not a fan of the vehicles or time trials, but that's just me. I think CTR is actually the one Crash that is most difficult to find flaws about. The only thing that me was the purple token challenges and that they put so many damn boxes in the relic races. The relic races themselves just felt very redundant. They should've just incorporated time trial mode into the adventure mode instead of having them.
