Wow, you guys were right. Act 3 was a fricking mess. The first two acts were good but the last one was fricking awful with terrible pacing and obvious cut content all over the place.

Idiot for listening to Ganker
Act 2 is trash though so what the frick are you talking about?
Act 1 is boring but at least it's proper DND fantasy and it has "two paths". Act 2 is atrocious.
Act 3 is kino because it has the very city the game is supposed to be about.
Absolute dogshit taste, holy frick.
>BG2 is shit because the city isn't in the game
>(you)
It is shit though
Remember, moron, it's down the road and not across the street.
I thought it was down down down by the river?
I liked Act 3. Lots of stuff to do. Don’t really care about the writing quality getting worse if the content is fun.
All of the world ending threats are in people's basements
>i don't care about quality as long as there's stuff to do
I said it got worse, that doesn’t mean it’s bad. You’re a disingenuous homosexual. Act 3 is fun and that’s what I want from a game. Fun. The characters are good and the game is fun don’t give a frick about the ending being contrived or some rushed plot points. The main story was never compelling to begin with.
There's plenty in act 3 that's bad and you would have realized this if you paid attention.
be specific, what cut content
Act 3 is amazing
I wish the city came up earlier in the story. For me it was a huge breath of fresh air after Act 2.
I think maybe act 2 and 3 should've been switched, dunno.
>Game is called "Baldur's Gate", which is the biggest city in the region.
>You need to save Baldur's Gate from the army of Goblins, Trolls, Orcs, and other evil shit that the villains are controlling.
>At the end of Act 2, you literally watch the giant army that you can't hope to defeat be ordered to march to Baldur's Gate and attack it.
>Act 2 ends, you go to camp outside Baldur's Gate.
>Act 3 starts, you arrive at...not Baldur's Gate, but a small village just outside the walls of Baldur's Gate.
>"Were is the giant army that I was following here? Shouldnt there be some big battle I have to help with?"
>Lol no they tell you the army was defeated offscreen just outside the gate by robotic guards, they never stood a chance.
FRICKING BRAVO LARIAN.
Did you play the game???? The entire point of Ketheric's army was to be crushed by Gortash's forces so that he could make a power grab in the city. They tell you this in the game in a big epic cutscene where the bad guys describe their evil plan in great detail.
I did, and it was dumb because literally the robots already were in control of the city at that point and Gortash was literally already de-facto king. He didn't need to be voted into office or whatever the frick.
Uhh... yes he did. Baldur's Gate was rightfully ruled by Black Kings, and that lil dick Gortash had to resort to typical white demonic trickery to steal the city from it's rightful and just Black Lords and Ladies. He wouldn't have been able to pull it off and put his mayo ass in charge without the Dead Three's help, full stop.
Yes it's a dumb contrived plot point but it's still moronic to be surprised that the army was defeated off screen by Gortash's forces, that was the entire point of the army all along
based fricking lorelet complaining about things he doesnt understand or read at all
Have you tried not falling for Chinese bot scams?
The game was good, though.
Nobody cares.
>muh commie boogeyman
westerners are so stupid it's amazing
act 3 was really weird
the locations themselves were fine and some of the fights were breddy gud, but it feels like they just gave up on writing
Some of the locations were poorly designed and the fights within them especially so. Like Gortash. His entire inclusion into the last act felt half assed.
>one tap the 99 difficulty dice roll
>still doesnt seem to do anything
what the frick happens if you fail that?
Which one? There's a few of those.
