pc gaming has fricked my right hand. what stretches or exercises should i do to fix it
Ice your wrist and wear a splint on your arm at night.
This anon is right. My left hand get fricked. Not from gaming but from a fall it was fricked for like almost a year but then I started wearing a splint at night and after a month my hand was as good as new again.
Pour a glass of bourbon and stop being a pussy.
From personal experience anytime my hands/wrists were hurting while doing PC stuff I'd just have to make adjustments so that I wasn't in pain. After enough time the pain wouldn't come back even if I slipped back into the old habits. Adjust your keyboard, hand position, etc. It probably seems like overly simple advice but I always just listened to my body and luckily never developed anything permanent.
Fake tough guy machismo homosexual alcoholic
Kek this started happening to me so I began using gamepad whenever I could
More than any stretches, stop torturing it. It's called RSI for a reason.
one time I played way too much path of exile and my wrists started hurting so bad that it was keeping me up at night, thank god that shit went away instead of being permanent nerve damage. it put the fear in me
amputation is the only solution
>if dentists were doctors
Black person you're aware that surgeons literally just hack out chunks of meat and hope your body heals itself, right? A good immune system is better than the best doctor in the world.
say that again after a broken leg/arm
hey are you an organ donor?
the bonesaw israelite isn't touching my limbs anytime soon
>numbness caused by the ulnar nerve in both my hands last year
>had tendonosis in some of my fingers a few months ago
>had intense knuckle pain trying to pick up my cup of coffee this morning
My hands are falling apart
Lift you stupid homosexual
unironically take this from someone with 30 years of gaming experience. It's the games you're playing.
Shit like TF2 holding down the button for medic was fricking my wrist up, same for POE ect ect.
This is gods curse against autistic morons that play the same game for 500 hours because they cannot handle change. Real gamers that change games every 10-50 hours never have hand pain.
They also never have sex.

I hurt my left ring finger last year and since then I can't extend it fully. Granted, the reduction in range is so small that other people won't really notice it but I know about it and it bothers me.
Take care of your fingers/hands
Look up proper posture and ergonomics, its actually mind blowing how much of a difference these things made for me.
I have learned and regularly incorporate using my middle/ring fingers to use my mouse left/right clicks when I don't need the speed/precision of my index/middle to give my index finger a rest for trigger finger.
Making any adjustments in-game also help a great deal.
Remapping keybinds to things that are more comfortable or convenient to press reduces a lot of hand/wrist strain over time.
Take breaks and stretch, they don't need to be super long. Switch to using a controller every so often if the game supports it to give your hands a rest.
Is it actually mind blowing?
you have bad genes if any of this ergoshit applies to you lmao imagine needing special techniques and strategies for literally sitting on your ass in front of a computer without falling apart
>zoomer must learn the hard way.
Many such cases. Sad!
I've spent more time on the computer than you have spent on this earth.
For me it's gamer thumb
I'm a NEET so all I do is play vidya, namely Project Diva with a ds4, and it's getting to the point where I can't play for more than a couple hours every 2-3 days now. My right thumb is aching as I type this
I have hypermobility too so that may be a contributing factor but god it hurts so bad
barbells. focus on curling and letting it down clean every time. after a few days the elbow will go away. for the wrist i suggest stop playing games like path of exile
Supplements, mega-dosing fish oil is great for joints.
Deadlifts (heavy) and pull-ups will help a lot.
Of course if you're in pain you should be mindful about any exercise.
>my right hand
Obviously use your left dipshit
Youll get used to it
Can't tell if you're serious. In case you are, just watch this: https://youtu.be/EiRC80FJbHU
You sound a lot like me. It took like 5+ years for my hand to get better, really wouldn't wish the same fate on anyone. Stop using that hand right fricking now though and pray you can recover faster, RSI shit gets exponentially worse the more that you frick with it.
