Both of those are authentic. They've got that broken glass effect on the sticker that fakes haven't reproduced and the second one also has a battery in place for the clock and the correct chips on the circuitboard. I've studied gen 3 carts a lot so these are easy tells.
You gotta hang on to the things you love, anon.
Other than for sentimentalities sake, there's no real need for it anyway, so the real question is how much is your nostalgia worth?
>Only legit copies can trade with the gamecube games and transfer to the pal park
No the ezflash omega definitive edition supports palpark and gamecube trading, it has a mode called normode where it acts like a real cartridge

yeah its annoying i always used to have to sell my games as a kid if i wanted a new one because poor kek, i just dont get why the prices are so high its not like theres a low volume of pokemon games, i assume people just coomlect them and buy 20 copies they will never play then put them on a shelf in plastic
I feel bad for not buying this or psychic spectres since I liked yokai watch at the time and they are both bullshit expensive now. Same thing with WW gold. I bought eshop of that
Is there some kind of extensive repository of what you can/cannot do with a repro cart?
I want to play Emerald again on actual hardware and also want to trade mons up to my legit Platinum through Pal Park and beyond, but don't want to shell out for a legit copy if I don't have to.
Its weird to think that my boxed collection of Pokemon games from the GBC and GBA era that I bought back in the day are now the most expensive games I own. You would think it would be something that didn't sold over 10 million copies.
>visited pawn shop because of a big "WE SELL USED GAMES" sign >was seeing reasonable prices on old vidya and consoles >but every Pokemon game was at least 200 leafbux
Went to a retrogame expo this weekend. Pretty much every single vendor had at least 1 copy of all the GBA games, usually multiples. Prices varied wildly. Some vendors had R/A for $80, some for $130, Some had Fire Red/Leaf Green for $100, some for $150. Pretty much all Emeralds were From $180-$200.
>not buying the japanese versions for (slightly) cheaper prices
Granted you do have to put up with moonrunes, and if you plan on transferring them up to Gen 4 legitimately, you'd either need an English Gen 3 game or a Japanese Gen 4 game.
But still, I feel you. Several Gamecube games I want are absolutely expensive and rare, such as Gotcha Force and Fire Emblem. Thankfully I got one of the white whales I wanted last year. It was Gale of Darkness.
No, they're ripping you off with bootlegs

still have to be careful, it is super easy to rip a legit image off the internet and sell a fake...
I do hate my legit copy of emerald is used as hell, so bad the imprint stamp and sticker is faded, making it look fake :/
If you think that's excessive, take a look at the price of steam keys for the activision Cybertron games or Panzer Dragoon.

A lot of retro games when up when people started buying pokemon cards and stuff. Basically it's mostly speculators buying and hodling.
Yes.
That's half price compared to the US ones so you should be happy.
You think that's bad?
i guess that sorta makes sense it probably sold 100 copies
YW3 was only printed like 100 copies or something, then relied on eshop sales.
Pokemon cartridges on the other hand are made by millions.
I feel so dumb for buying it digital when it came out. I want that shit on my shelf so bad.

>$300 3DS game
frick
I need to hurry up and buy a copy of USUM before it skyrockets
It's the price for hunting a full odds shiny Mew
>but it's not a nip cart!
Yeah, many won't care about it
>downloads ROM, installs it on flashcart
Heh, nothing personnel...
You won't be able to transfer your Pokémon up of you do that
>uses pksm
nuthin personnel kid
You can though?
Well you can just use pkhex or make the whole transfer method with emulation.
>injects to 3ds
Heh nothing persona
I bought

Pal Park doesn't work with bootleg Gen 3 carts. You could get your hands dirty with a save editor though.
Frick. Guess I'm gonna look for a legit Emerald then.

Just buy japanese edition. Japanese emerald cib is like less than 60$

Just get a flashcart
I would totally sell all of my cartridges if they didn't have event mons stuck on them
