Advantage is a reality of lag. You can't mitigate it without trading it for some other problem.
The video is not a "peak" though, where someone runs out and back in. In that video you have the worst case scenario, which is a opponent coming out while the observer is retreating. For the observer, the opponent's location is old, and for the attacker, the observer's location is old. But the guy dies while retreating, which is hardly ideal for a "peaker" who's trying to pop a shot then get back behind cover. It's more like rush advantage.

It's all the new subtick system. Tickrate is still 64 on official servers, but subtick tries to accurately account for where your mouse is when the shot goes off. What some people are reporting as everything feeling "off" was them accommodating, even if ever so slightly, for the inherent delay CSGO had where it was ever so slightly "off"; subtick almost entirely removes that so suddenly you have to unlearn the delay timing.
You level your profile and if you get to level 40 in a year you get a permanent badge for your account with the date of the year you got it. Also every level gives you a random drop, usually crappy box/spray/skin.

Aim with your arm when snapping to common angles and pre-aiming.
Keep your wrist neutral (straight and locked) while looking for an enemy to shoot.
Wrist aim when an enemy pops into view, except for when they're nowhere near your crosshair.
Benchmarks: >can "clear" all the common angles with just your arm >can flick between two close heads accurately with just your wrist

I think Valve should adjust the netcode to frick anyone with over 60 ping though.
cl_predict 0 won't help much. It simply subtracts half of the peekers's ping (1/2 RTT) from the defender's disadvantage, because now the peeker has to wait that long to see the defender instead of seeing them instantly. Everything else stays the same.

Having defender's advantage become a function of defender AND peeker's ping has some benefit, but the trade-off is that this game is gonna feel like molasses even if you have 10 ping.

Fine, you don't even have to spam it, my point is that holding an angle seems to work like crap comparative to how easy it is to peek into an angle and get a kill.
The movement is definitely more snappy now, which makes moving and shooting yourself more easy, but it also makes moving opponents more dangerous and with the limits of latency I'm not sure I like it so far.

Thank god I never spent more than 2 hours total on that one spray control workshop map now that I have "follow recoil" on. I can actually see the vertical peak of a spray without having to look at bullet tracers and finally found out that the mp9 makes an "L" shape at the 8-9th bullet.

Obviously this is completely unplayable outside LAN, but that's the basic problem of allowing a player to move, stop and fire an accurate shot on client side before the server even registers that they have moved.
I think Valve should adjust the netcode to frick anyone with over 60 ping though.

Its the same tick rate, they just added COD style lag compensation so you get shot after you already passed a corner now.
They fricked up big time this is completely inaccpetable not to have 128 tick servers.
Lag compensation was already a thing. If it wasn't you'd have to predict where people are going to be in a few milliseconds and shoot there.

moron. Only plebs use that new recoil feature, it completely fricks you over if you can actually aim at heads because it confuses you on where the crosshair will reset. That feature is to have on when you practice only to learn patterns
Thank god I never spent more than 2 hours total on that one spray control workshop map now that I have "follow recoil" on. I can actually see the vertical peak of a spray without having to look at bullet tracers and finally found out that the mp9 makes an "L" shape at the 8-9th bullet.
