I mean, isn't the proper response for when your employees go missing to find any way to contact them?
As far as everything could go, he could have feared that Kirkbride was dead for 5 days straight and no one found him.
Instead, he catched an employee failing to show at work and doing drugs. The only part that might have avoided for him to be fired on the spot would be Kirkbride actually delivering in the end.
Considering todd would have had to bring a physical camera, do you think he brought it with him to photograph his dead body, or did he leave and come back with the camera to snap a picture of his out of his mind coworker?
When you compare how unique and creative Morrowind is to any slop that came after and ESPECIALLY Starfield you can see the gradual decline in quality staff.
Their staff is fine. Starfield was botched mainly because of Todd's mismanagement and Emil's shitty writing, and it could have been a good game. They will ruin TES6 as well.
>procedural generation
There's nothing wrong with this. Daggerfall did it and that was a good game. The problem with Starfield is when it generates a "dungeon" it's the exact same copy pasted one you've been to 20 times before.
Daggerfall is literally better than Starfield in this regard... an almost 30 year old game.
it's recently been revealed that he did some drugs back then, but it was lithium or some shit, downers.
That's like the drug equivalent of wearing weighted training clothes. If anything they limited his creativity, not enhanced it.

I don't believe the shrooms meme
Kirkbride said he was diagnosed with synesthesia, his perception of sound and visuals is just naturally fricked up but some of his creativity came from that
>this dogshit le crazy drug addicted schizoid meme stems from an offhand comment michael made about drinking "coffee and whisky" while writing some lore
What did he take before his azura rape roleplay session?
codeine
Drug shaming is always a good thing, drugs are bad
on one hand it's bad, on the other hand drugs and depression have produced gigakino for thousands of years
Based Michael
because it was funny
just a bit of banter

He supposedly left Bethesda due to "financial" reasons but I'm pretty sure this was just a cover for the drug-fueled antics.
I guess his brain chemistry is barren as Ethopia these days.
sure, let's fire the cool drug-fueled writer and hire emil pagliarudo instead. that's totally not shooting ourselves in the foot or anything
ive never played scrolls games
what are the 36 lessons?
Why not just play it? Install Morrowind from "gog-games.to" and run it with OpenMW.
I'd rather buy it on gog, thanks.
Thanks for supporting Microsoft, saar!
did he get paid for this though?
it was work related

Minds like that are wasted in fricking videogames, he should be writing novels or poetry.
Water finds its own level. MK has settled in on writing fanfics on Reddit.
bethesda really did peak with morrowind.
It was their only good game

>Their staff is fine.
>game was 90% outsourced to pajeet codemonkeys
Starfield was botched because Bethesda’s vision for the future of their company is rooted in procedural generation.

The rise of Emil Pagliarulo was the decline of Bethesda.
It really did. His shit went downhill from there. I feel like after Oblivion, all of his games were basically Oblivion with the new skin.
>the The 36 Lessons of Vivec
this edit's existed for like a decade and every time it gets reposted this is the first thing i instantly notice
>It's a joke and never happened, morons.
>The image is from some video sketch unrelated to Bethesda.
except it might as well be true? he did write during drug binges and todd knew about it.

I've got synesthia too it didn't hold me from dropping acid every week while drawing the lore of my game
no it happened. it was revealed to me on the dreamsleeve

he's literally written about his past drug problems and mental illness on reddit
MK is a run of the mill alcoholic not a druggie. It is one of the reasons he struggles to find gainful employment
Didn't he also have a psychotic episode at one point?
If it's the one I'm thinking of, he'd hide behind a shower door and ramble to his girlfriend through the frosted glass. He was fricked up for a while
He may have told a story to his fans to bolster the whole suffering artist schtick he does. Doubtful it actually happened.
Okay, go back to your 5 interesting Bethesda facts videos then
