>tfw this is the ideal gfcore game on paper but in practice it is too hard
Maybe I just need to manage her to just watch me. The music is really great too do that's a plus. Main problem imo is that actual game is mostly mecha shooting (although in really cool frickikoma action), on rather drab sceneries, girls are not naturally attracted to that, though they will probably enjoy the cutscenes (what girl doesn't like some Kino gits?)

>this single player mecha spider action game is perfect to play with a girlfriend
What
It's just this one guy endlessly praising this 5/10 game and obsessing over the ebonics term "gfcore", pay no mind.
Oh look, it's the obsessed anon who always shows up to say how this game is mediocre or bad but fails to articulate why and has been btfo many times.
It's a unique game with good controls and experimental 3D action, made by 3D gaming vanguardists Exact, who made Geograph Seal and Jumping Flash. On top of that it has the value of being a GITS licensed product with animation by Production I.G. and soundtrack by techno legend Takkyu Ishino and many big names from the 90s german techno scene.
It's definitely a gem and you will never change reality.
Nah he's right, it's average. It's slightly novel but not novel enough to justify its overall mediocrity. Everything in that era was novel, devs were still figuring shit out.
>talking in 3rd person
GITS is one of the most fun action 3D games on the PS1.
I like how there's no fat in it. It explores lots of possibilities, does everything you could want with its wall scaling gameplay, and doesn't waste your time with superfluous shit. The last level being a tight platforming challenge with geometry that lets you forget which way is down culminating in a tight boss fight is a great send off.
One of the greats of the generation!
-core isn't ebonics, it comes from punk
It's also divorced from any specific original context and is meaningless in the above.
I feel like Ghost in the Shell starts strong and then you get thrust into the underground levels which are significantly more linear and more constricting which makes the game duller. There should have been another level similar to the final level in which you were scaling an object and you had to move around on the walls and upside down to get where you needed to go.

This you?
OP, what the frick is "gfcore"?
Based on the context of the post it seems to be games you can play with your girlfriend.
I bet OP doesn't even have one. But neither do I.
>Based
I agree
>gfcore
not as dumb as metroidvania, and it makes the homosexuals seethe. I’ll take it
It's some stupid thing OP is obsessed with trying to make a thing.
Coal
OP seems to have missed the memo that the only game women play is The Sims.
Bro, if she's not into it, she's not into it. Gfcore isn't about forcing your girl to play games for you, she needs to enjoy the games too. Try super gossun oyoyo, liquid kids, bishi bashi special, zombies ate my neighbors, pinball machines, sonic shuffle/Mario party. The. Once you she starts to develop a bond with games, you introduce something like ghost in shell or resident evil, super Metroid, tomb raider.
She already a gamer but mostly modernshit, so not used to higher difficulty or the concept of continues/Game over
Ohh well just play whatever then, I'm sure she's ok with trying older games and shell probably like a few too.
>madeupcore this madeupcore that
The only cores I want to see are the ones used in emulation you need to take your fake movements back to Readit and tumblr
Play a simple/cutesy fighting game with easy to pick up mechanics instead if you want them to get involved.
I don't have a gf but I play vidya with my sister and she unironically enjoyed watching me play F-Zero GX yesterday.
I've been playing vidya with my sister for like 15 years now, mainly it's been Mario 2d games, Animal Crossing, Minecraft and the lego games. She also enjoyed watching me play the ps3 version of TF2 for a good 5-6 years.
How's that for a legit answer to your Black personlicious thread. What a shocker girls mainly like playing casual games,
My gf is into competitive online FPS like Counter-Strike, but she has trouble playing old school 2D action games like Castlevania or even Super Mario games, although she likes them. She played a bunch of these new indie 2D metroidvania games.
I tried to make her play through Super Castlevania IV but although she loved the aesthetics and music, she got filtered by the game hard... I thought it'd be an easy one, but still too hard for her. Believe it or not, aiming + hitting the attack button at the same time with the diagonal whip is not easy for her, I kept telling her "you can whip diagonally up!" all the time but she couldn't do it. She could do it if she stood still, but not while in action.
