How bad are they going to fuck up fable? the tech is there to make the original vision a reality but theres also modern devs who dont know how to use the tech and rely on ai as well as being ideologues who are unable to work on a project without inserting ~~*modernism*~~ into it
It'll probably be very generic, probably taking more of the approach you see from Action-RPGs. There'll probably be some sort of crafting aspect to it but it'll be rudimentary, like you'll just find the resources in the overworld or as loot and you need x of this and y of that to make an Iron Sword or whatever.
Magic will probably still be shit and follow Fable III's approach although probably without the element melding that game had and definitely not the more varied spells in Fable I.
It'll also probably be just set on the mainland with maybe a short visit to Hook Coast or Aurora (only one, and only about to the extent of Hook Coast in the original, not TLC). We're never getting Knothole and Witchwood again, also it'll probably have the shit enemy variety from III, there'll be;
- Bandits
- Hollow Men
- Hobbes
- Ghosts
- Wolves
- Balverines (actually good be absent against all odds)
- Some new enemy that bears a striking similarity to the Minions or just a returning enemy type from Fable I or II
If the plot isn't an inferior version of Fable I's plot with TLC sold as DLC again then it'll probably be a more hard reboot probably merging elements of II and III's plots together.
