Netflix did what? They raised the price by like $1 over the last couple of years and they did it after LOSING market share to Amazon Prime, Disney+ etc, not after gaining Market share. Netflix was at its cheapest and best back when it was more or less the only big player in town.
Raised the price to $20 a month. I know because I'm paying for it still (splitting it my family at least). Why wouldn't Microsoft do it when they are the only one in that marketspace? You don't think they'll actually keep it at $15 forever do you? ABK deal would be a good excuse to raise the price because muh CoD every year.
Netlix has several subscription tiers. The basic tier is $9.99. Netflix never raised one tier that previously was 10 bucks to 20. The premium tier that is currently $19.99 used to be $18.99 or something like that. You are full of shit.

Is that the one with ads? Oh Microsoft was looking into those with Xbox too right?

No, the one with ads is $6.99.

well the one I'm paying for went from $15 to $20 so I don't think that's unreasonable for Microsoft to follow suit.

If they did that, they would still offer different tiers to maximise all sorts of subscribers with different financial situations. Like, I can see that they maybe create another tier above ultimate that includes a WoW subscription, D4 battlepass, CoD season pass etc for $20 a month. But it's extremely unlikely that they will get rid of the $9.99 and $14.99 tiers in favor of only a $20 tier. That would lose them millions of subscribers that aren't willing to pay that much.

the humanity
>Microsoft tasting a tiny ounce of power with the Activision deal likely going through >Suddenly they start removing "consumer friendly" deals losing them money
Wow, what a twist nobody could have possibly seen coming.
I mean, they aren't a charity. They only kept doing the $1 deal to pad the subscriber numbers for shareholder meetings. Apparently now there are enough regular gamepass subscribers where they don't need to do that anymore.
>rent games >play them >”haha they’re raising the price don’t you feel stupid now?”
No? I still had fun when it was cheap and if it’s no longer cheap I’ll go somewhere else. No biggie.
how did I get scammed you fricking moron? I literally made use of a service that was too good to stay financially viable. If anything, I scammed Microsoft by playing games worth hundreds of $ for like 3 bucks total.
Couldn't care less about gamepass, activision, etc. The only reason I want an xbox is for Sonic Unleashed at 60fps. But buying a console for a handful of old games seems like a bad idea.

Never understood the appeal of gamepass unless you are a kid with tons of free time to play all those games. It is something incompatible wen u have a job and can't put that many hours
That was the good part about the discount. $1 is basically nothing so you subscribed for just one game you wanted to play. If you had time left afterwards, you could play more as an extra.
looks like I'm out bros
I'll sub once every 6 months for the hidden gem game
this first half of this year had hifi rush
i automate bing searches for MS reward points but i use those for games not GP subs
I told you limey dick heads
>limey
Microsoft is an Israeli company.
Just grind Bing Rewards points
I don't see the problem here. My kind anon, are you...poor?
when the ABK deal goes through the price is going to $20 a month. You know it will happen.
You literally have to be mentally challenged and know nothing whatsoever about how business works to believe that will ever happen.
I can see patterns with subscription services. Netflix did it and they didn't just spend 70 billion to buy 10 new studios.

Nice while it lasted. Youre not one of those morons that thought it would last forever right?
But the xbox shills said this would never happen
I feel betrayed
most of these xbots said to take advantage of this shit while you still can

Still a better deal than what Sony is offering. Try again later and maybe get laid in the meantime, incel.
is there any way of using a vpn to get this cheaper
You were warned for years and years goypass is a scam. You have no one to blame for yourself for falling for blatant pajeet marketing on Ganker.

People were abusing the 1$ deal for YEARS.

Maybe it's time to hang up the controller?
https://gamequitters.com/
beginners mistake
what you are supposed to do is get the target addicted and then SLOWLY raise the price.
Great, now you can have no money too instead of just having no games!
You will have nothing, but you will be too moronic to be not happy.
You will also enjoy the bugs.
How do adds on a gaming console work?
The boss spawns them just like in every game.

Look at Sony's patents. You have to stand up and shout McDonald's to skip
$1 deal was the only reason to get this to begin with. Why would you pay any more for rentals?
Same reason why some people buy games for $70.
games aren't worth 70 dollarinos

Só does the 3 year gold to ultimate conversion still work?
Just got it before the price increases even further, any recommendations/hidden gems?

Still cheaper than buying $70 games.
