My series x plays games fine. I'm playing lots of different games and have a massive backlog. I'm an.old man now so I'll rock out with Xbox and then maybe buy a pc or steam deck. PS5 is the first Sony console I won't own. I will never pay $70+ tip for a game. I will never play movie games or cinematic 3rd person shooters. Maybe if they have a true exclusive worth that I can't resist, I'll get one when it's a $20 game. I doubt that happens

Even with the PS2, it might he entirely my luck instead of a common thing but I had 4 PS2 consoles because they broke and my final one couldn't even play blue discs. The PS3 was poor and the PS4 absolutely worthless, but they took the few benefits it had away with paid online and a garbage controller.
I'm 33 with a full time job, I study and have a family. I play an hour or two 3 or 4x a week. The Xbox has a great library. I know the PS4 has a lot of the sane library but the fact that I can play Resident Evil 1 through 8, and half a dozen spinoffs on one platform is fantastic. That alone is a year of entertainment for me. I don't need access to more than 1k games and gamepass has made it so cheap to play new games too.
