I remember when Tom Clancy games were about special operators doing high stakes missions in real world settings and constraints. What the frick is this?
Looks like that is old and they maybe dropped the Tom Clancy branding on it (at least I don't see any on their store page). Now it is more of a general thing that takes from all Ubisoft properties - it has Tom Clancy factions (Splinter Cell, The Division) and others (Far Cry, Watch Dogs)
My only problem with this game is that it doesnt have that milsim vibe into it, even with the Tom Clancy characters. Feels like a paintball match while it should feel like

The thing is that when siege came out nothing really stopped it from getting more autism features since it had terrorist hunt, but they really went the complete opposite direction and even disabled terrorist hunt content like enemy types and traps. Also it's always daytime
huge, huge this. if Siege had better PVE content or if they'd added game modes with respawns, i think it'd be a much bigger game. it's sorely limited by being a CS clone.

this is extremely true. i'll go so far as to say kill streak rewards like Chopper Gunners and AC-130's are better than traditional vehicle placements because they're only available to players who can get that many kills in a row and they have a built-in time limit. nobody's camping the Jet or the Tank all game.

Bare in mind, I did not try to stir up any trouble but was actually involved in the community, even going so far as playing with one of the developers. I was banned for no reason and had to ask a 3rd party to ask why I was banned. They said it was for the pfp, so I changed it and asked to be unbanned but I never was. So I sent an email and (after some back and forwards with them) they told me to frick off and stopped replying to my mails. I'm pissed because this game was probably the most fun i've ever had in a f2p multiplayer game in a good while, so it pisses me off that they don't even try to give me a second chance when I've shown good will and tried to rectify my errors as soon as possible.
If this was some random garbage discord, I wouldn't even be mad since I usually try to troll, but this time, I was legit trying to be nice and helpful, especially since I fricking love The Finals and I think it could really become one of my favourite multiplayer games. So i'm heartbroken about it. I wasn't even warned with something like a DM saying "Hey, change your profile pic or you're banned". But worst of all, I bent myself forward and backwards in my emails with the developers and they still didn't accept my apologies. I can't even appeal to the mods since it's just not possible to communicate with them and my ban IP wide and my alt is also banned.
I'm also really mad since I wanted to play ranked with other people in a VC since playing with randoms is pure hell, but now I can't even find anyone to play with!
Ironically, the swastika was blocked off by the status dot, so you really had to squint hard to think "Oh, that's a dude dressed in an SS officer dress, get him outta here"

Does the game just feel bad to anyone else? It feels like a cheap toy where as the games its emulating (CoD) feel like real games. Like everything just doesn't feel right. Hit detection seems pretty bad, movement is bad, shooting is bad, etc. Everything about it just doesn't feel right
